Sunsella Bento Style Lunch Boxes

I received the Sunsella Bento Style Plastic Lunch Boxes through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Easy to open lids
  • Not leakproof
  • Microwave, Dishwasher, and Freezer safe
  • Stackable
  • Dimensions: Length 9.5" x width 6.2" x height 2.2"
    • 1st Compartment 3 1/2 cups
    • 2nd Compartment 1 1/3 cups
    • 3rd Compartment 1 cup

When I first received these lunch boxes, I was surprised at how thick the plastic actually was. I was expecting something that was made cheaper. I was very pleased to see how thick and durable these lunch boxes were.

The lid colors of the lunch boxes were fun, bright, and inviting. The fun colors helped brighten my mood when I saw them. The lids are easy to open, so I wouldn't suggest putting stuff that's liquidy, like soup, into these lunch boxes. They can leak if tipped sideways, upside down, or if the lid pops open.

There's three compartments in this lunch box. Each compartment is a different size. These lunch boxes aren't good to try to store bigger food items because there's not as much room or space as some flat, one compartment type lunch boxes. Although, for the picky eater I am who dislikes when my food touches, these lunch boxes are perfect. I dislike having to bring multiple containers somewhere if I bring my lunch because I don't like when my food touches, especially if one happens to be fruit and a little juice. I wouldn't want a sandwich or other food to get all wet, soggy, or with the fruit flavors in it.

The different sized compartments also help portion out your food. The biggest compartment can hold 3 1/2 cups of food, the middle sized compartment can hold 1 1/3 cups, and the smallest compartment can hold a cup.

The Sunsella lunch boxes are easy to wash. They do say they're dishwasher safe, but I found it easier to wash them by hand. When I tried washing them in the dishwasher, they got a bunch of water spots on them when they dried.

Top it Off Wine Stoppers

I received the Eco Friendly Top it Off Wine Stoppers through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Prevents leaks
  • Reusable
  • Air-tight seal
  • Prevents oxidation when sealed
  • Made with food grade silicone
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Fits wine, beer, champagne, and soda bottles
When I first saw these wine stoppers, I wasn't sure how well they would work. I figured they would help close or provide a type of lid for the wine bottles or bottles with similar tops. I just wasn't sure if they would really provide an air-tight seal and prevent leaking.

The product feels like it is made out of a nice quality silicone. It feels durable and sturdy, like it won't break out several uses. The wine stoppers are dishwasher safe, so they're easy to clean. The top of the wine stopper has a wider edge on two of the sides. It makes it easier to grab and pull up on to reopen the wine bottle. There's not much struggle with it like a cork. Perhaps just a little wiggling to get it loosen from the bottle.

The inside of the wine stoppers have a groove at the very top where the lip of the glass bottles can fit into. This is what helps provide it with the air-tight seal and leak protection. If you press the stopper all the way down on top of the bottle, the lip of the bottle will fit in the grooves. The groove seems to fit the glass bottles perfectly, like it was a costume fit to them.

The wine stoppers are too tall to fit on plastic soda bottles or water bottles. It would pop off if squeezed because it doesn't fit down tightly on those types of bottles.

Not to mention that the sayings are absolutely perfect! The sayings bring a smile to my face. It makes me feel lighter and happier, especially after a long day.

Check out these wine stoppers on Amazon.

Flexible Cutting Board

I received the Flexible Cutting board for Non Slip Chopping by Kichin through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Non-slip surface grip
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Flexible
  • Microwave and freezer safe
  • Reversible
  • Juice grooves on one side
  • Made with silicone
When I first received the flexible cutting board by Kichin, I was pleased that the cutting board was thicker than I had expected. I couldn't really tell in the pictures how thick the actual cutting board was. I was worried that it'd be thin and flimsy.

The only part that feels slightly flimsy is the handle. Although, it's no where near the point of being able to be ripped or torn. It's just not a place that's stable to try to hold it by with food on it to carry or move. If a person would carry the board just by the handle when there's food on the board and carrying it across the room, the board wouldn't hold up well since it's flexible. If someone is picking up and carrying the board while there's food on it, it's safest to hold it by the middle or with two hands.

The rest of the board feels firmer than the handle. The board feels stable and sturdy. I could bend my board without it breaking, tearing, or staying bent. It would go back to it's original shape. The silicone the board is made out of is very nice. It feels very heavy duty. I tried using a dull knife on it at first, which it didn't leave a mark on the cutting board. I then tried one of my sharper knives. It didn't even leave a scratch or indent.

I like that the cutting board is reversible. It allows bigger areas on the one side to have it be flat, while the other side has the juice grooves in it to prevent spilling or dripping. It's certainly a cutting board I'd use to cut juicy fruit. I tried pouring a bit of water onto the cutting board in the middle. Due to the weaved line pattern on the cutting board, the water would move towards the juice grooves without spilling out or running onto the counter. The water had to be within the same spot for it to move into the juice grooves slowly. Otherwise, the droplets would just stay put.

I love the flexibility of this cutting board. It's stable, yet flexible enough to make me feel confident and comfortable knowing my food isn't going to end up on the floor or counter if I pick up the cutting board to put my food into a dish. The flexibility mixed with the juice grooves makes this a perfect cutting board to make fruit salad. I love fruit salads that are juicy. To me, it adds or enhances the flavors with the juices from the fruits being in there. The cutting board allows you to chop up the fruit without losing it's juice. You're able to pick it up and have both the juice and the juice go into the bowl.

The only issue or concern I have with the cutting board is the weaved line pattern on the cutting board. It's on both sides. It's useful to help hide any scratches or gives you lines to try to line up with and it helps move any liquids or juices into the juice groove. I'm just concerned with the pattern when it comes to cleaning up. In small crevices, food or liquids can get stuck and be difficult to fully clean. Although, the line pattern isn't deep enough to get food stuck within the lines permanently. It's mainly when the food gets dry or is in the process of drying that it's hard to get off. If the cutting board is washed, rinsed off right away, or soaked for awhile, it should help make cleaning the cutting board easier.

Kitchen Zest Measuring Spoons

I received the Kitchen Zest 18/8 Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Stainless Steel
  • Deep groove engraving
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Soft grip
  • Removable ring
Before I opened this product, I was a little worried how easy the measuring spoons could be to read to know what size they were. I've gotten metal or stainless steel sets before that were really tough to read due to their light engraving.

I was very pleased to see that the Kitchen Zest set is very easy to read. The engraving on the spoons are deep and big enough that the size stands out on the spoons. The engraving has both standard and metric sizes. I usually don't use the metric readings, but it is nice in case I need to use them. It saves me from having to look them up.

The set has the basic sizes I use for baking and cooking. The set includes a 1 tablespoon, 1/2 tablespoon, 1 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, and 1/4 teaspoon measures.

The grip on these measuring spoons is very soft and easy to grip. The material reminds me of silicone or rubber. Although, the back of the black handle grip part is open. This could make it difficult to clean if, for example, you drop it into the baking batter or mixture when adding an ingredient. These measuring spoons are dishwasher safe, so it does make it easier to clean.

The ring the measuring spoons are on has an easy snap open and close clasp to help get the spoons off with ease. It helps keep the spoons organized and in the same place, yet also allows you the freedom to use and clean one spoon at a time.

I did expect the stainless steel of the spoons to be thicker or heavier to bend. The stainless steel reminds me of some of the silverware I've had at restaurants that could be bent and curved.

Overall, the measuring spoons are not as durable as I had thought they would be, but for the basic home cooking and baking, they work very well.

Check out these measuring spoons on Kitchen Zest's website or Amazon.

BriaUSA Shirt/Dress Velvet Hanger

I received the BriaUSA Black Shirt/Dress Velvet Hangers through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Color: Black
  • Pack size: 10
  • Slim
  • Prevents clothes from slipping
  • Swivel hooks for easy maneuvering
My go-to-hanger are the velvet style hangers. They're usually slim, so they don't take up too much room in my closet. They also provide a nice grip to my clothes to keep them from slipping without snagging my sleeves.

The BriaUSA velvet hangers performed well. The hooks were easy to use or rotate with them being swivels. I have a habit of always putting the hooks of hangers the same way on my rack in my closet. It bothers me if they're not facing the same way. The swivel hooks allow me to rotate the hook around without having to take off and rehang my shirts or dresses to have them facing the way I like them to on the hanger.

The velvet is soft to the touch and helps hang onto my clothes, so they don't go slipping off. A lot of my shirts or blouses have a wider neckline, so they fall of of normal hangers if there isn't little catches on them. The velvet hangers allow me to hang my shirts without them falling down to the floor if they got bumped. The velvet material also makes it so clothing doesn't it snagged or holes poked into delicate fabric like some hard plastic hangers may do.

The only issue I had with the BriaUSA velvet hangers were the shape. I've gotten used to the hangers with the bar on the bottom, which allows me to hang dresses, so my dogs can't reach them. The bar also makes the hanger more sturdy or stable when there isn't a clothing item hanging on the hanger. It helped prevent the hanger from getting tangled up with other empty hangers. It wasn't a problem with the design, it was just a personal preference.

Beyond getting tangled with some of my other hangers, the BriaUSA velvet hangers has performed strongly. None of the hooks have broken, like other hangers I have tried in the past, and my clothes don't slip off of them.

Mosquito Repellent Bracelet

I received the Mosquito Repellent Bracelet & 2x Refills through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Lightweight
  • Does have a strong scent
  • Refills last 15 days or more
  • Bracelet is adjustable in size
  • Waterproof
  • Deet-free
The mosquitoes can be terrible where I live. Even bug spray with deet in it may only last a half hour on some days depending on how bad the mosquitoes are out.

The other night the mosquitoes started to come out because the weather got nice enough for them. There was a ton out there.

At first, I didn't have the bracelet on, and I got bit at least six times in under 15 minutes. I finally gave up on the mosquitoes and tried the bracelet.

The refills were easy to get into the bracelet. Only one is needed at a time. The refill had a slight scent to it that was strong if the wind picked up or if your arm was near your face. (I had it on my wrist.) If I had the bracelet on my ankle, I probably wouldn't have noticed the smell as much or I would have gotten used to it. With it on my wrist, every once in awhile, I'd get a strong whiff of the smell.

The bracelet did work. I wasn't getting bitten by mosquitoes after I was wearing the bracelet, even though other people near me were still getting attacked by them. Even those who had sprayed themselves with bug spray was getting bitten every once in awhile.

I really liked that I didn't need to use the spray when I had the bracelet. I always have disliked the way the spray made my skin feel with it's stickiness.

I had had my doubts about the mosquito bracelet when I first got it, but the bracelet exceeded my expectations.

Dr. Federick's Original Donut Cushion

I received the Dr. Federick's Original Donut Cushion through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Helps distribute body weight evenly
  • Relieves pelvic, perineal, and behind pain
  • Soft & Durable
  • Holds up to 330 Ibs
  • Machine washable
  • Easy to inflate and deflate
  • Latex free
I had gotten this product to try because my mom tends to always sit on a pillow when she sits on the couch.

When I received the product, I was reading the material that came with it that listed what all the donut cushion could help with. I was surprised at how much it could be used for, even for pregnancy.

The donut cushion came in a small zip lock package that wouldn't stay closed. The donut cushion also came with an air pump to help inflate the cushion to desired firmness. It's also easy to deflate if you make it too firm.

The material of the cushion is soft and durable. It doesn't make you feel like you're sitting on a pool floaty or air tube. It's not something you'd go sliding off of if you wore slick pants. The material is also machine washable, so it's easy to keep clean.

The cushion helps balance and even out the weight distribution when you're sitting. For me, I usually lean to the right, so it helps keep me more upright when I'm sitting.

Lint Remover by Furzie

I received the Lint Remover by Furzie through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Works to remove unwanted hair
  • Works on clothes, furniture, and upholstery
  • Lightweight
  • No refills required
  • Easy to clean
My dogs are tiny monster shedders. With them being part Pomeranian, they shed like crazy. When it came to removing pet hair from clothing, I had usually used adhesive lint rollers. It would take several adhesive strips to get one clothing item clean of pet hair, but the pet hair would continue to show up on areas I already went over. There's been times it would take more than five adhesive strips to get all the pet hair off a jacket.

I had my doubts about the lint remover by Furzie. I figured, if the adhesive lint rollers couldn't free me of dog hair, how would a brush like lint roller be able to do it.

I was so happy and surprised when I first used the lint remover by Furzie. A few brushes and the hair was gone from my pants. And let it be known, the first time I used the lint remover was after I brushed my dogs, so I was covered in hair.

After awhile, the brush would stop picking up hair because it was already full of dog hair. I just swiped my finger across the bristles of the brush a few times to make the pet hair ball up to clean the brush off. The hair came off easily. I was ready to remove more pet hair within seconds.

The lint remover was able to remove all the pet hair from my pants without needing any refills of any kind. I didn't really have to clean the brush in between time either, besides wiping my finger across the bristles to remove the hair. The brush didn't deposit any dog hair back on my pants either.

The lint remover by Furzie exceeded my expectations. It's my go to lint remover to get pet hair off of my clothes after I brush my dogs. The product makes it so easy to be dog hair-free in a house with two shedders.

Healed By Love eBook & Giveaway

NEW BOOK RELEASE........
Book #1 The Bradens of Peaceful Harbor, Book #13 The Bradens series, Love in Bloom #25

Meet the Bradens of Peaceful Harbor and fall in love with Nate Braden & Jewel Fisher in Healed by Love.

Nate Braden has loved his best friend’s younger sister Jewel for as long as he can remember, but between their age difference and his respect for Rick, he’s always kept his feelings at bay. Now he’s back in Peaceful Harbor, and Jewel is no longer sixteen years old—but there’s an even bigger obstacle standing in his way. Nate and Rick joined the military together eight years earlier. Nate came home a hero, but Rick didn’t make it out alive.

THE BRADENS AT PEACEFUL HARBOR are one of the newest additions to the Braden series and the LOVE IN BLOOM family.

**CONTENT WARNING: Due to mature content, recommended for readers aged 18+**

***Review***
Healed By Love is an appropriately titled book. Love can bring people together in a time of need. It can also help a person move on from their inner demons.
Melissa Foster did a wonderful job presenting how love can help heal in this story. The main characters, Jewel and Nate, can help each other grow and continue living life after the hardships they've both faced. As long as they don't place blame on each other or themselves for things that happened in the passed, Nate and Jewel can be healed by love.
Melissa made the characters come alive in her story. I ached with Jewel over the loss of her father and brother. I know what it's like to lose family and wanting to bottle up the remaining ones and keep them safe. Jewel has spent the past few years trying to be a big sister, a step-in parent, and her siblings' protector that it leaves no time for Jewel to just live for Jewel. Her demons happened to be the fear that's inside her, only Nate can make her realize that. Nate has been in the war. He may have come back alive, but he was still wounded by what happened during the war. Nate holds a deep secret that's eating him alive. Telling Jewel could either ease the pain or cause him to lose her for good.
Even the secondary characters were wonderfully portrayed. Each one had a personality that stood out. The Bradens are a wonderful and amusing family to read about.
This story certainly put a few tears in my eyes when the characters were struggling with their losses, yet it brought a smile to my face with their love.

Slendertone Ab Flex Gel Pads

I received Replacement Gel Pads for Slendertone Ab Flex through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Replacement gel pads (3 in each set)
  • Helps conduct electrical pulses that target nerves and muscles
  • Medical grade & FDA approved standards
  • Pads last for 20 to 30 slendertone sessions
When I first got these replacement pads, I was still using the first pair I had on my Slendertone Ab Flex. I just got it earlier this year.

When it came time to replace my pads, I got out the replacement ones. The product description says they're suppose to be a no-mess design. Sadly, 1 or 2 of the replacement pads in each pack had the covers over the gel slip, so they were a bit messy. The same thing happened on the original gel pads that came in my Slendertone Ab Flex, so I wasn't too surprised by the mess the gel from the pads could be.

The gel on the replacement pads I have used have been sticky, yet hold up well. They stick to the ab flex like they're suppose to without moving around, slipping, or falling off.

The gel pads do help conduct the electrical pulses. I don't notice them all the time, but I hadn't before with the original pads either. How much I feel those electrical pulses depends on if I was working out or what I was doing while using the Slendertone Ab Flex and what setting I had the ab flex on.

Overall, the replacement pads I've used have worked well, even though they were a little messy.

Naturalico Rechargeable Electronic Callus Remover

I received Naturalico's Rechargeable Electronic Callus Remover through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Rechargeable (comes with power cord)
  • Comes with replacement head
  • Helps scrape away dead skin
  • Spins a full 360 degrees at speeds of 40 turns per second
  • LED light to see trouble spots
I had been wanting to try a electronic callus remover for awhile now. I have trouble spots at the bottom of my heel and below my little toe. No amount of lotion has helped remove those callus or dead skin that tends to build up there. Normal callus removers or files leave my feet feeling raw or don't get rid of much of the dead skin or built up calluses.

When I received Naturalico's callus remover, I was impressed with what it all came with. Yes, the plug-in is a bit chunky and large, but it does work well and has a long cord to it. The extra head allows you to replace the old one once it's dull. There's a little brush that also helps remove dead skin from the device and helps clean it.

When charging the device, there is a light at the button that lights up to indicate when it's charging and changes colors once it's done. The device does hold a decent amount of charge. I was able to get several uses out of it before I had to charge it again.

The cover is thin and small. It's easy to pop off or lose it. I wish there would cover would cover more or fit down further, but that would require more materials to make it that way. It's not a priority part of the product.

The LED light is right below the head of the callus remover. It lights up when in use to help spot any trouble areas or give you more light to be able to see what you're doing.

The head of the callus remover does pop off, so it makes it easy to change and replace it. Although, you can see the electronic wires when you pop off the head. I would not recommend getting this product wet with a lot of water if you can avoid it.

This callus remover worked well to help remove a lot of the dead skin that had built up over time on my problem areas. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth without causing any irritation to the device. It's also easier to clean than any other file or other type of callus remover that I've tried.

Check out Naturalico's callus remover on Amazon.

Silicon Devices Comfort+ Bluetooth Earphone

I received the Silicone Devices Comfort+ Bluetooth Earphones through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Wireless
  • Different size covers and ear locks
  • Lightweight
  • Clear sound
  • Cancel white noise
When I first saw this product, I was a little worried about how well it would fit or stay on and in my ears. I tend to be pretty picky with my headphones because I don't like them slipping, falling out, or hurting my ears.

When the product arrived, I was impressed with the carrying case and what all came with the earphones. The case was the perfect size to keep all the parts to the earphones that help provide the customized fit in one place.

Out of all the earphones I've tried in the past, this earphone set came with the most covers and ear locks. I was surprised at how much you could customize these earphones to ensure you have the most comfortable fit.

The openings of my ears happens to be pretty small. The earphone set didn't fit the best in my ears. They stuck out a bit. It's not headphones I would where when I'm listening to music while I'm laying down because I tend to turn onto my sides. The ear locks help make sure the earphones stay in place, so these are earphones I'd wear when I'm up and moving.

Charging the earphones is easy. The product includes a USB charging cord, which is similar to the charging cord of an Android phone. The charging cord is short. There are lights to indicate when it's charging and when it's done on the side of the the earphone with the USB port on it.

There is a green looking button on the earphones that turns them on, so you can connect them to your phone, tablet, or other device.

The sound quality of these earphones is very good. It's a clear sound. The mic also works very well. When I've called people while wearing these earphones, they were able to hear me clearly without me having to yell or be very loud.

Check out these earphones on Amazon.
