WashGuard Lingerie Bag

I received one Medium WashGuard Lingerie Bag for Laundry through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Fine and silky soft, non-abrasive mesh
  • Tightly stitched
One of the main things I always look for on Lingerie Bags I've bought or received in the past is the stitching. I've had many come apart after several uses. The WashGuard Lingerie Bag has tight and well done stitching. It's not likely to come undone with normal usage.

The zipper is fairly quiet. It runs smoothly and isn't rough. The zipper doesn't snag or get caught on the bag. It's very easy to open and close.

The bag size is perfect for a shirt or two. The bag can work for jackets or sweaters, but those items will have less room to move around in the bag when it's washed.

There are plenty of small holes with the mesh fabric for water and soap to get into the bag to provide the clothing with a decent, yet gentle, wash. It helps keep liked items together and protect the more delicate clothing items.

Check out this bag on Amazon or IXBetterHome's website.

BriaUSA Shirt/Dress Velvet Hanger

I received the BriaUSA Black Shirt/Dress Velvet Hangers through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Color: Black
  • Pack size: 10
  • Slim
  • Prevents clothes from slipping
  • Swivel hooks for easy maneuvering
My go-to-hanger are the velvet style hangers. They're usually slim, so they don't take up too much room in my closet. They also provide a nice grip to my clothes to keep them from slipping without snagging my sleeves.

The BriaUSA velvet hangers performed well. The hooks were easy to use or rotate with them being swivels. I have a habit of always putting the hooks of hangers the same way on my rack in my closet. It bothers me if they're not facing the same way. The swivel hooks allow me to rotate the hook around without having to take off and rehang my shirts or dresses to have them facing the way I like them to on the hanger.

The velvet is soft to the touch and helps hang onto my clothes, so they don't go slipping off. A lot of my shirts or blouses have a wider neckline, so they fall of of normal hangers if there isn't little catches on them. The velvet hangers allow me to hang my shirts without them falling down to the floor if they got bumped. The velvet material also makes it so clothing doesn't it snagged or holes poked into delicate fabric like some hard plastic hangers may do.

The only issue I had with the BriaUSA velvet hangers were the shape. I've gotten used to the hangers with the bar on the bottom, which allows me to hang dresses, so my dogs can't reach them. The bar also makes the hanger more sturdy or stable when there isn't a clothing item hanging on the hanger. It helped prevent the hanger from getting tangled up with other empty hangers. It wasn't a problem with the design, it was just a personal preference.

Beyond getting tangled with some of my other hangers, the BriaUSA velvet hangers has performed strongly. None of the hooks have broken, like other hangers I have tried in the past, and my clothes don't slip off of them.

Fabric & Lint Shaver

I received the Cordless Fabric and Lint Shaver through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Removes pills, lint, and fuzz
  • Works on clothing, upholstery, drapes, blankets, carpets, etc.
  • 2.5" shaving surface
  • Comes with: Power cord, small brush, and the shaver

The first time I used this shaver, I didn't take the time to try to find where the batteries go and what type it takes. I used the power cord to get it to work. The power cord is the perfect length for me to use it by plugging it in the bathroom outlet and using it by the washer and drier. The cord is about 5ft long and the washer and drier is right outside the bathroom door. The length worked perfect for me.

I was a bit nervous to use the shaver on some of my clothing because it recommends not to use it on soft fabrics. Most of my shirts are either soft or thin for the fabric. The first two shirts I tried got a little hole in them, not even a size of a pea or as big as the holes on the shaver. The holes were tiny. I realized my mistake was because I was pressing too hard with putting the shaver to the fabric. If I just lightly held it above the fabric, the shaver would use it's suction force to help pick up and cut off any lint, pills, or fuzz.

After I learned the trick, working the shaver with my shirts was a breeze.

The cap of the shaving area can be unscrewed and the blades are inside. I highly recommend keeping this out of the reach of small children or young teens for this reason. Older teens and adults would be more careful with handling this shaver.

The little brush that comes with the shaver helps to remove the lint from the blades as well.

The first time using this fabric and lint shaver, I used it on a lot of my shirts before I washed them. I was amazed at how much fuzz it was able to get off on many of the shirts.

The main shirt that I had a problem with where it was pilling badly took longer than the rest to work off the pills. I went in circles over the pills until I was satisfied with the amount that remained or that they were all gone.

To empty the area that the lint, pills, and fuzz gets stored with the shaver, you just pull down on the plastic clear part until it pops off. Be careful because it can be messy.

Premium Delicates Laundry Bags

I received the Premium Delicates Laundry Bags through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Set of 4 (2 medium 12" x 15" , 2 large 16" x 19")
  • Premium-grade mesh
  • Strong & durable
  • 3 White bags for light-colored loads
  • 1 Black bags for dark-colored loads
  • Rustproof zipper
When I first got this product, I was amazed at how smooth and soft the bags felt. They were wonderful to the touch. I felt safe putting my clothes in those bags without the fear of them getting snagged by other colors.

I don't really pay attention to the light and dark loads. I usually just mix my loads because I don't have anything overly white or colors that bleed.

The sizes are wonderful. Even the medium size can fit more than one item of clothing in it. I usually put two in each bag to keep the washer even.

The zipper is probably one of my favorite parts about this bag. It glides very smoothly. It's a nice heavy duty plastic. No matter how many times it gets washed, the zipper doesn't rush or get rough. It helps avoid snagging any clothing. Plus, it's quiet.
