Oasis Portable Humidifier

I received the Oasis Portable Humidifier from Air-N-Mist through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Portable
  • Quiet
  • Works best for small rooms to medium sized
  • Tank-less design (Uses water bottles)

The Oasis Portable Humidifier is a great humidifier to use when traveling. It's easily stored and lightweight. The humidifier can be plug-in at any location as long as there's a USB port, including using with a wall plug or car charger.

The cord gets plugged into the bottom of the humidifier.  The pegs and notch area cut out of the humidifier helps keep the cord in place. The device sits flat on a surface.

The tankless design makes the humidifier extremely portable. It makes it easy to travel with the humidifier. There's even a carry bag to that comes with the product to keep all your humidifier accessories together.

There is a cap or attachment that screws into the humidifier and onto the water bottle lid. I usually try to screw the attachment to the water bottle first to prevent making any messes. The attachment is slightly too big for all the water bottles I tried. It doesn't screw on tight like a water bottle lid.

I place the humidifier upside down and screw the attachment into the machine. I then flip the humidifier and water bottle into position, where the humidifier is right side up and the water bottle's opening is facing downwards.

If flipped together, even with the loose attachment on the water bottle, there's very little mess. A drop or two may escape. The water bottle does not leak from the attachment unless the water bottle is squeezed or knocked over. If left alone once in the humidifier, the water bottle shouldn't leak.

The humidifier does take several seconds, no more than a minute, to start producing mist. The humidifier is a cool mist humidifier. The humidifier produces a lot more mist than I expected. It works very well.

The bigger the water bottle, the longer the humidifier could last before needing refilled.

Pros:
- Portable
- Lightweight
- Easy to use
- Good amount of mist

Cons:
- Attachment for water bottle and humidifier could get lost
(2 are included with the product)
- Attachment doesn't fit tight on some water bottles
(Smaller the lid cap, the looser it fits)

Portable Humidifier Stick

I received the the Portable Humidifier Stick by Air-N-Mist through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Portable
  • Helps keep skin healthy
  • Helps reduces the spread of germs in the air
  • Helps sinuses not dry out
  • Quiet
  • Comes with 2 filters (one inside stick already)
  • USB cord with on/off button
  • Produces a lot of mist
The Portable Humidifier Stick is very small, easy to store and travel with, and lightweight.

I was pleased to see that the humidifier stick came with two filters. At first, I thought there was only one until I got the stick twisted open.

Like most humidifiers, the stick works best with distilled water. It helps keep the filter and the humidifier cleaner and no extra build up. I usually don't have distilled water with me, so I use regular tap or spring water. The stick gets a build up on the metal part on top of the stick, where the mist comes out at. The opening to this part is wide enough that I can use to my pinkie nail to help scrap off and clean the metal piece. If I was using distilled water, it's not likely that I'd have this issue.

The humidifier stick works in cups that are 8 oz in size or smaller. Larger glass work, as long as they are not filled all the way full. Otherwise, the stick could fall beneath the water and not create the mist like it's suppose to and could cause water damage to the charging port and cord.

The top of the humidifier stick is wide enough that the stick can be used in a water bottle. The stick doesn't fall into a normal, plastic water bottle. The stick does not reach the bottom of the water bottle, so not all the water can be used.

I've found that the stick works longer using an 8oz cup that's filled up rather than a water bottle because the stick does not fit all the way down into the water bottle.

The humidifier stick impressed me with how much mist the little stick can provide. I've tried portable humidifiers before that don't let out a lot of mist. This one seems to put out as much steam as a larger humidifier. On the down side, this does cause the stick to go through water faster than if it was putting out less mist. If in an 8oz glass filled up, the stick may not have enough water to be able to run a full 8 hours. I wouldn't recommend using this portable humidifier during the entire night while you sleep. I would recommend using it a few hours before hand to help bring in the moisture to the air.

Doing this has helped me not wake up with dry sinuses or bloody noses. I'm able to sleep comfortably with the moisture this stick helps bring into the air.

The humidifier stick works best for smaller rooms, such as a bedroom or bathroom. Living rooms could be too large for the humidifier to put out enough moisture to notice the difference.

Pros:
- Lightweight
- Puts out a lot of mist
- Comes with 2 filters

Cons:
- Can go through water quick
- Isn't long enough to reach to use all the water in a water bottle

Ohuhu Christmas Stocking

I received the 18-inch Christmas Stocking Felt Applique Kit by Ohuhu through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 3-D design
  • Plaid border with fabric hanging hoop
Ohuhu's Christmas Stocking has a cute 3D design that show two snowmen playing in the snow. It's a fun festive decoration.

The fabric of the stocking isn't the softest. Parts of the stocking is softer than others. The stocking doesn't have the nicest feel when you touch it. The fabric on the inside of the stocking feels cheap. The fabric on the backside of the stocking tends to gather fuzz, dust, hair, and threads.

The snowmen are the cutest part of this stocking. The nose is the only non-fabric part of the stocking. They're made of plastic. The glue holding the snowmen on and together isn't the greatest. The glue won't hold if it's pulled and yanked on hard.

If one would get this stocking, I'd recommend using it as only part of the decor or decorations and keep it up and away from pets or kids.

Pros:
- Cute design
- Fabric hanging hoop

Cons:
- Fabric isn't nice to touch
- 3D design isn't durable (glue doesn't hold the greatest)
- Backside of stocking gathers dust, hair, fuzz, etc.

Beautiful Scarves: Check Scarf

I received the Black, White, and Grey Check Scarf by Beautiful Scarves through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Very soft
  • Check pattern scarf
  • 25% cotton, 75% acrylic
The Beautiful Scarves Check Scarf comes in a nice box to protect the scarf during shipping. The scarf is a nice length. It's very soft and lightweight. The black, white, and grey color check pattern works well as an accessory for many styles. The scarf works for both men and women.

The first thing I noticed about the scarf, beyond it's color and pattern, was how soft the scarf is. The softness reminds me of a baby blanket. The scarf is also lightweight, which makes it work for both the fall and winter seasons or whenever it's cold. It's not the warmest scarf, but it does help keep body heat in and block out the wind.

I did notice that there had been a thread loose on the scarf when I received it. I went to pull the thread away and more just kept unraveling. There's not really a way to stop this scarf from unraveling. After those main loose threads, I haven't had a problem with the scarf unraveling. This scarf could snag easily if it's caught on something scarf or pet's nails get caught in it.

I wouldn't recommend machine washing this scarf because of how easily the scarf can unravel. There's nothing protecting the sides of the scarf from coming loose. It's best to hand wash it and hang dry.

Pros:
- Very soft
- Versatile
- Works for many styles
- Helps keep in heat and block wind
- Lightweight

Cons:
- Sides of scarf is not protect. It can unravel
- Ends of the scarf can also unravel
- Not durable

Mini Christmas Tree

I received the 17-inch Mini Christmas Tree by Ohuhu through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 17 inches tall
  • Traditional green
  • Easy to step up and store
  • Foldable branches
  • Tree stand included
  • 56 branch tips
  • 12 inches in diameter
The Ohuhu Mini Christmas Tree is a nice, small decoration to set on tables, counters, stands, etc. The size of the tree works well for smaller rooms or apartments that may not have room for a big or average sized Christmas Tree.

The tree came in a thin, long box. I was surprised with how little of room the tree takes up when it's stored in the box. The branches on the tree are that foldable that it can flatten so well to fit in that box. It doesn't take much to set this tree up.

There's three leg pieces to slid into place. It'll make a clicking sound once it's in place. As long as I heard the clicking on all three leg pieces, the stand was even and sturdy. I could put on heavy ornaments on the tree and it does not lean or fall over.

The branches can be spread out far. There are 56 branch tips. The tree can look bare if the branches are spread out evenly or separated. If too many are clustered in one area, an area near that may look bare. When spread out, the tree looks full or almost full.

Small ornaments look best on the 17" mini tree. The bigger the ornaments on the tree, the less room you have to put more on. Bigger ornaments also look a bit awkward on the smaller tree.

The mini Christmas Tree works well as a decoration piece in smaller rooms, such as a bedroom, office, small living rooms, kitchen, etc. The mini tree takes up less room than a normal tree.

Pro:
- Doesn't take up much room
- Stores easily
- Stable on flat surface
- Can hold heavy ornaments

Cons:
- Sheds
- Pets could knock over due easily depending on where the tree is placed

Texting Gloves by iGotTech

I received the Texting Gloves for Smartphone and Touchscreens by iGotTech through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Comfortable
  • Durable
  • Ultra-Soft Brushed Interior
These gloves came at a perfect time. My old pair had just ripped at the fingers and it was starting to get too cold to wear them with the holes.

The first thing I noticed about the iGotTech gloves were that they were thicker than the fabric/mesh type gloves that I normally would get at like Walmart. It made me feel comfortable that they could possible last longer (and so far they have).

When I put the gloves on, they fit very nicely. My hands usually fit in a medium sized glove or rubber glove. These gloves are slightly big on my hands, but not as big as what a large glove size would be. They have an excellent amount of stretch.

The inside is very soft! It's one of my favorite parts about these gloves. I love the way they feel when you slide your hands in.

The touch/texting part of the gloves works nice. When it's really cold out, below 20 degrees Fahrenheit, they can be hard to text with. When it's just chilly, I can text with these gloves no problem.

The glove doesn't provide the warmth or wind protection needed when it's below freezing or if you're outdoors for a long period of time.

The only other issue I had with these gloves is that one string was loose on the inside of the gloves, which isn't a big deal. The gloves have lasted for over a month with being worn multiple times a day.
