Peacock Bloom Candleholder

The Peacock candleholder is a cute and colorful decoration piece.

The glass portion of the peacock candleholder is able to fit small tealight candles. I prefer using the battery tealight candles. Real candles tend to make the glass get hot and difficult to clean out.

The color on the glass is very pretty and fits my color theme well.

The candleholder is very top heavy from the glass. It sits well on a flat surface. I would recommend keeping the candleholder away from a counter edge, a table that gets bumped, away from kids reach, and away from pets.

The stem looks cheap compared to the glass holder. I'm not a big fan of the leaves. They've very thin and easy to bend. If bent too far, they could break.

Pros:

- Color on the glass

- Glass portion looks cute

Cons:

- Top heavy

- Stem looks cheap

- Leaves are easily bent and can be broken

Office Fun Frame

I received the Office Fun Frame through a promotion.

This frame is cute idea to provide a personal touch or style to an office area or home. 

The frame is lightweight and easy to hang up. It can also sit on a desk by leaning it against a wall. 

The bungee like cords stretch and move nicely. It allows you to put thin items, like a picture, or bulkier items into the frame. 

The cords are attached with loops that do not pull out of the frame. The cords do not break either. I tried pulling on a few as hard as I could, but the cords and hooks held up well. 

Pros:

- Sturdy frame

- Lightweight

- Cords stretch easily and go back into place

Cons:

- Items can fall through the cords and out of the frame
- Frame seems cheap

NYC Night Canvas

I received the New York City Nighttime Skyline Canvas through a promotion.

The NYC Nighttime Canvas is a beautiful canvas print for many styles of decor. The variety of colors in the print can help make it match to different color schemes that decors can have.

The canvas print is much prettier in person than I expected it to be. The amount of detail that is visible and clear in the image surprised me. The photo is a busy image with plenty to look at.

A part of me does wish that further away lines weren't so blurred, as well as some of the lighting. The other part of me realizes that those help brighten the image and create the depth perception.

The frame of the photo is wooden and sturdy. There are a few areas on the wooden frame that's rough, but that side is hidden once the canvas is hung up or displayed.

The staples are okay. The cardboard pieces on the corners when the canvas arrived had me a little nervous taking it off because it was stabled to the rest of the canvas. One staple ended up coming off with the cardboard and another raised half way out. The rest stayed in place.

Like most canvases, this print could be damaged if punctured in the middle where the wooden frame does not provide backing.

Overall, this canvas print is beautiful and fits in with my color scheme well.

Pros:

- Great detail

- Variety of colors in photograph

- Thick canvas

- Depth perception in photo

Cons:

- Lights on print look blurred 

- Some staples came out when cardboard edges were removed

Flickering Flameless Candles

I received the Flickering Flameless Candles through a promotion.

The flameless candles are cute addition to decors in any room of the home or office.

Each of the three candles takes three AAA batteries. Although the flameless candle claims to be energy saving, it does take a quite a bit of batteries and energy to make these candles work. Having 9 AAA batteries around the house isn't something I always have available.

The candles are able to be turned off or set onto a timer. This helps limit the amount of time the candles are on and helps limit the amount of energy the candles use.

The candles provide a warm glow.

The "flame" portion of the candle did concern me. The plastic flame is very thin and seems flimsy. The flame is attached to a very thin shaft.

Air movement helps move the plastic flame to create the candle or flame appearance.

Although the flameless candle claims to be safe to use around children and pets, the plastic flame of the candle seems a bit too fragile to be used or left where children or pets can reach the candles.

The remote takes a CR2025 battery that can be changed if the original one that comes with the product dies.

The remote allows you to set the timers, turn on and off the candles, and change different settings. These settings include the brightness of the warm light and the speed of the movement for the flickering light.

Pros:

- Warm light

Cons:

- Takes 9 batteries for candles

- Plastic flame seems fragile 

- Wax gets dirty and collects pet hair or dust

Ocean Wave Projector Light

I received the Ocean Wave Projector Light through a promotion.

The wave projector light looks basic or plain, yet it creates a beautiful and calming wave light projection. 

The projector can be powered by 4 AA batteries, which the compartment is on the bottom of the light and shut with a small phillips screw.

The projector can also be powered by an outlet using the USB cord that comes with the light. I usually this method to use my light. The cord is only a few feet long, so it limits the portability of the projector compared to batteries.

There is also a jack to plug in the attachment cord for the projector and a music device, such as a smart phone or mp3 player.

The projector has three buttons. The middle is to turn on/off and change the light modes. The other buttons are for volume controls.

I did notice that if the volume was up too high on certain songs that are louder, it would cause the device to shut off. Lowering the volume on the music device and projector usually keeps this issue from happening.

The lights will change and move with the music or sound.

There are three main lights on this projector. Red, blue, and green  are the lights that can be used as single colors or multicolored.

There are several different modes for lights. The single lights of red, blue, and green are three of the modes. The others include different versions of the colors combined for multicolored projections. For example, there's one that has all three colors together and another flashes through different light combinations.

I have always found water and watching it's movement relaxing. This light captures it well and makes it fun with the different colors and modes.

Pros:

- Shuts off if volume is too loud

Landscape Star Projector

I received the Landscape Star Projector with Remote Control through a promotion.

The Landscape Star Projector is a quick and easy way to decorate the outdoors during the Christmas season. 

The projector uses laser lights, so it's highly recommended not to aim these lights towards the sky. Like most laser lights, it can cause distractions for pilots. 

Aiming the light towards a building, like a house, barn, or shed, without aiming too high, allows the laser lights to project onto the sides of the building to create a festive decoration. Aiming towards the ground or a patio also works.

The light is screwed onto a stake. The stake goes into the ground to help hold up the light. The light can be angled and tightened to have the light project onto the desired area.

The cord isn't as long as I'd have liked it to be, but the plug-in is designed so it can be used with an extension cord. Although, if the plug-in is used with an extension cord, the connection area should be wrapped to help protect the area from the weather, such as dew, rain, and snow.

The cord gets put into the plug in with the two prongs. There's a notch that's on the cord and plug-in, so they are connected in the correct way. The cord has a screw cap that allows you to tighten the cord onto the plug-in, so it does not get pulled out by wind or animals. It also helps protect the connection from weather and moisture.

The wireless remote is powered with a CR2025 battery that is included with the product. The battery compartment is easy to open, which allows the battery to be easily changed once it dies.

The first time I used the remote, I thought the battery was dead. The battery showed that it had a good charge when I tested it.

I figured the remote may be broken then. I kept trying the remote by changing where I was aiming it. The remote needs to be directly facing and in front of the sensor for the remote to work. If there's any obstacles in the way, the remote will not work the full length that the product claims.

The remote allows you to change the speed for each mode setting. The lights can be moved very quickly, which if one is pron to motion sickness, I wouldn't recommend having the lights on a very quick speed. Slower speeds are less bothersome.

The different modes have the lights moving in various ways and speeds. The settings for changing modes and speeds allows for customization with how the laser light decoration appears.

The lights do have timers that can be set. The timer can be set for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. The timers allows for the lights to be going on without having to worry about forgetting to shut them off. The timer will automatically shut off the laser lights once the time is up.

The laser lights are red and green. The red and green lights can be going on together or separately. I prefer having the red and green lights both on.

The laser lights are bright. The lights can be projected for a long distance away. The lights can be projected up to 800 sq feet.

If one has pets, I would not recommend having these laser lights be projected where the pets, such as dogs, would go outside. The lights can be bothersome to their eyes if the pet looks directly at the projector.

I also would recommend having curtains up and closed on the side of the home or building where the projector is facing. The laser lights can shine through the windows.

I would highly recommend not facing these lights towards the roads. The laser lights could shine into the drivers eyes and distract or blind them with the brightness.

These lights are very pretty and easier putting up for decoration than normal hanging rope lights, but these lights should be used with cation because of the laser projections.

Pros:

- Much easier to set up than rope lights

- Timer for automatic shut off

- Screw to hold cord and plug-in together and protect from moisture

- Use with caution due to laser projections

S3 Soap Dispenser

I received the S3 Soap Dispenser through a promotion.

This soap dispenser is a nice looking and easy to use soap dispenser. 

The stainless steel sections on the soap dispenser and pump is made with a good stainless steel material that should help reduce the likeliness that it would ever rust.  It also give the soap dispenser a generic, yet modern, appearance that could fit with many decor styles. It could work in kitchens or bathrooms. 

The clear body is made out of plastic. The clear body provides the ability to see what the soap level is inside the soap dispenser. The plastic feels sturdy. It doesn't feel like it'd break or leak easily. 

The pump is a decent size. It fits well into the soap dispenser, like it should.

I really like how the pump looks. It makes me think of a faucet. It catches my attention due to it's shape.

When I put the lid with the pump onto the soap dispenser with the dispenser being full, I tipped the entire thing upside down to see if it would leak. I even tried shaking it. The dispenser didn't leak at all. I am very pleased that I don't have to worry about it leaking if it gets knocked over on accident.

The pump is a little stiff to push down. It takes a little bit of effort, especially the first few times of using the pump.

The pump provides a good amount of soap. I usually go about half way down with the pump to get the amount I like.

This isn't a type of soap dispenser to use if you mix you're soap with water. It comes out too liquidy, depending on how much soap or water you use for the mixture.

Overall, the soap dispenser performs very well.

Pros: 

- Appearance

- Doesn't leak

- Can see soap level

Cons:

- Pump may be too stiff for someone who is very weak in hand strength

Schonwerk Walnut Color Decorative Bowl

I received the Schonwerk Walnut Color Decorative Bowl by Creative Scents through a promotion.

The Schonwerk Walnut Color Decorative Bowl is a very pretty bowl to have around as decoration. 

The crackled glass adds a shine or glisten to the bowl. It helps make the decor piece stand out when empty or slightly filled. The crackled glass part of the bowl is smooth to the touch. 

The bowl looks as if it's made out of wood, although it's not. It's made with a thick resin. The base of the bowl is fairly durable. The legs are about the main part that is possible to break off. 

The four peg legs have non-skid pads on them to help protect the furniture the bowl is set on and keep the bowl in from sliding too much. It'll still move slightly if  bumped. 

The bowl I received did have a slight issue with not sitting flat. If pressed down on two of the corners, the bowl would tip or wobble. The legs are not even. As long as the bowl is just used as a decor piece and isn't being messed with, the wobble isn't much of an issue. 

The decorative bowl can be used for a variety of decor styles or themes. It can be filled with seasonal or festive items. The wood look of the bowl is classic, yet the shape is fun and modern.

The bowl looks fantastic.

If the bowl wobbles, I would suggest adding a few extra non-skid pads on the bottom of the shorter leg would help solve this issue.

Kahn Decor Candle Holder

I received the Kahn Decor Candle Holder with Romantic Love Quote through a promotion.

The Kahn Decor Candle Holder is an adorable addition to most decor themes or styles. The holder works well as a centerpiece, on an end table or shelf, or any other location. The silver looking holder will reflect the nearby colors that helps make it match the current decor.

The decor candle holder is made of durable glass that's engraved with the love quote. The glass is thick and made in a way that it won't get broken easily. The glass on the bottom for example is thick and sturdy. It's well balanced and lays flat on the surface it's put on.

There's three sides that has the love quote engraved into the glass. On one of the sides, the "Love" was faded and difficult to see. The other three sides had the entire quote easily read and seen. The reflective silver on the holder can make it difficult to read in bright lighting. If there's a candle inside the holder, the quote can be seen in any lighting. It looks best in darker areas because the candles create a warm glow with this holder and makes the words pop.

The quote, "Love is just a world until someone comes along and gives it meaning," is very cute. It's romantic, true, and very relate-able. The quote does not have to be relating to a romantic relationship. The quote can stand true for families or any other relationship where one loves and cares of another.

The outside of the glass tends to get a lot of fingerprints on the glass. The glass can easily be wiped off and cleaned. 

The inside of the holder is large enough to hold a tealight or other small candles. I prefer using flameless LED like candles. They're less messy and I don't have to worry about flames or heat in this holder or in my room. 

Pros:

- Nice love quote

- Durable glass

- Sits flat (no wobble)

Cons:

- Gets fingerprints on glass (but can be cleaned/wiped off easily)

- "Love" was faded on one side
