VR Box 2.0

I received the VR Box 2.0 Virtual Reality Glasses through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Compatible with Android and Apple devices
  • Adjustable lens
After having used other VR glasses, this pair leaves a lot to be desired.

The glasses allow you to slide out the compartment to place your phone inside. There is a spring plastic piece that helps hold the phone in place. Sadly, a phone does not fit in the glasses with it's case on.

The so called 3D glasses just seem to show the video from the VR apps up close. There is a divider that's between the lens that is noticeable when watching videos. It tends to split the screen. You can get the same affects holding your phone close to your face as using these glasses.

The lens can be adjusted separately to provide a clear image. The lens do come back far, so it's not a device that can be worn with reading or normal glasses on. The lens tend to bump into the glasses.

These glasses don't work well as virtual reality glasses.

Pros:
- Works with Android and iOS devices
- Phone fits in well
- Strap fits on head comfortably

Cons:
- Normal glasses can't be worn with device
- Divider in device is noticeable (Splits screen)
- No 3D effect
- No virtual reality 360 effect
- Cheaply made

Office Fun Frame

I received the Office Fun Frame through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 8" x 10"
  • Lightweight
  • No Assembly
This frame is cute idea to provide a personal touch or style to an office area or home.

The frame is lightweight and easy to hang up. It can also sit on a desk by leaning it against a wall.

The bungee like cords stretch and move nicely. It allows you to put thin items, like a picture, or bulkier items into the frame.

The cords are attached with loops that do not pull out of the frame. The cords do not break either. I tried pulling on a few as hard as I could, but the cords and hooks held up well.

Pros:
- Sturdy frame
- Lightweight
- Cords stretch easily and go back into place

Cons:
- Items can fall through the cords and out of the frame
- Frame seems cheap

**CONTENT WARNING: Due to mature content, recommended for readers aged 18+**

***REVIEW***
Mick's story in the Bad Boys After Dark series caught my attention from the start and kept it throughout the book.
Amanda Jenner came out of her shell in this story. Amanda is normally careful and cautious. At the masquerade bar, Amanda tries something out of the norm for her by trying to seduce a man and aiming for a more primal hookup. Little does she know that the man she ends up seducing happens to be her boss.
Mick Bad is an alpha man who avoids relationships due to his family's past and issues. He doesn't like to mix business with pleasure. Mick recognizes Amanda behind her wig after they've already crossed the line.
When Amanda realizes it was Mick behind the mask, talk about an awkward situation. Mick comes up with the idea of spending a weekend together. He hopes to get Amanda out of his system. Things don't always work out as planned.
I am amused that Amanda researched how to seduce a man with a book. I found it adorable and pleased that it helped give her confidence.
The ending of the book has me really curious and wanting to read Dylan's story. I can't wait for it to come out!

Microbead Travel Pillow

I received the Microbead Travel Pillow through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Soft jersey cotton cover
  • Adjustable strap
  • Works as lumbar support
The microbead pillow is comfortable and soft. I just wish the pillow had more cushion or was thicker.

The jersey cotton cover is soft and can be washed easily.

The cover can be unzipped and the microbeads bag can be removed. I was worried that the beads would leak or come out of the material. I tried to get some to wiggle out, but I couldn't find any holes big enough to get the beads through. The fabric used for the microbead bag holds up well to normal usage.

The microbeads tend to shift during use of the pillow. It makes the center of where your head is get really thin and lose cushion.

I was a little disappointed in the strap. The strap is nice to adjust the length needed to fit it on a chair or headrest. The part that bothered me was that one of the straps kept coming out of the buckle. The edges are not doubled over to create the thickness to prevent the strap from falling out of the buckle.

Pros:
- Soft cover
- Microbeads don't leak

Cons:
- Not enough cushion
- Strap falls out of buckle

Multi-Sockets Surge Protector

I received the 14-Outlet 4-USB Multi Sockets Surge Protector through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 6.5' retractable power cord
  • On/Off Switch for each layer
  • Fireproof ABS plastic
  • 3 prong plug-in
This multi sockets surge protector is a nice outlet and usb surge protector for areas where many items need to be plugged in at once.

When I opened the package with the surge protector, I had forgotten that the power cord was retractable. I was really confuse trying to find where the rest of the cord was. The retractable cord makes it easier to have the surge protector sitting by an outlet without having the cord in the way or causing a trip hazard. If the outlet is higher up on the wall, the surge protector can still sit flat on the floor. The plug in for this surge protector is a three-prong plug.

The cord can be retracted by rotating the top portion of the surge protector.

The surge protector was taller than I expected it to be. It is twice as tall as my water bottle when it's sitting on a flat surface. The surge protector usually sits flat, except for when it's on my bed.

There's four layers to the outlet. The top three layers have the outlets. The bottom layer has two outlets and four usbs. Each layer has a power button that allows you to turn on and off the power to that layer. It helps make this surge protector to be more power saving. There is a LED light indicator on each layer to show if the power is on with that layer. The light is bright.

Each of the outlets and ubs plug-ins I tried seem to work fine. I wouldn't recommend having something plugged in to each outlet and usb port at one time, just to be safe. Although the surge protector is made with fireproof ABS plastic, too many items plugged into one power strip could cause issues with the outlet that the surge protector is plugged into. There is a overload protection on each switch. If power is over, the switch will shut off.

Pros:
- Power to each layer has on/off button
- Long retractable cord
- Outlet and usb port options
- Overload protection
- Fireproof plastics
- Over-heating protection

Cons:
- Bulky

Berlando Baby Blanket

I received the Berlando Blue and Grey Chevron Baby Blanket through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 32" x 26"
  • Soft
  • 100% Polyester
  • Machine Wash Cold / Tumble Dry
The Berlando baby blanket is very soft and an adorable color.

The blanket is smaller than the average baby blanket I use.

For a stationary baby, this blanket is great. The blanket is very soft to touch. The white color on this blanket can get dirty easily, but the care instructions make the blanket easy to maintain and wash. Although, I would not recommend using this blanket outdoors due to the light coloring.

For babies who role or crawl, this blanket is okay in a play pen where the child only has a certain amount of room to move around in. For on the floor, the baby is more likely to roll or crawl off the blanket due to it's small size.

 Pros:
- Very soft
- Great for in a play pen
- Easy to wash
- Cute colors (Can be for boys or girls)

Cons:
- Size is small for a baby who rolls or crawls

Ohuhu Hair Rollers

I received the Ohuhu Bendy Hair Rollers through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 42 Pieces
  • Various sizes
  • No heat needed
  • Flexible
These bendy hair rollers work better than I expected them to.

The set has 42 various sized rollers. They cant different styles or sizes of curls. The amount of hair placed on each roller can also change the look of the curls.

The rollers work best when put in wet hair and the hair is allowed to dry with the rollers in. No heat is needed to do so.

When the rollers are in, hair can look a mess or funny. If the rollers are not bent in half where the hair is, the roller can slip from the original place it's rolled up to.

The rollers are very flexible. They're lightweight, but not comfortable enough to sleep in.

Taking the rollers out takes less time than putting them in. Hair spray may be needed to get the curls to keep.

The rollers can create bouncy and wavy curls. I prefer using the smaller rollers, although it takes more to do all my hair.

Pros:
- Flexible
- Lightweight
- No heat needed
- Various sizes

Cons:
- Can take awhile if no heat is used
- Uncomfortable to sleep in
- Can slip from where it's originally rolled up to

ShooAway Fly Repellent

I received the ShooAway Fly Repellent through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Chemical free
  • Repellent dots
  • Takes 2 AA batteries (not included)
  • Lightweight
  • Quiet
The ShooAway Fly Repellent involving no chemicals is a neat idea, but this one doesn't have much quality.

The material the device is made out of is a very cheap, light weight plastic. It's easily knocked over or could break.

The repellent dots look neat, but they don't always work. Flies still have a habit of sneaking under the repellent fan. The farther away the fan is from the food, the more likely flies will still get to the food.

This device doesn't create much air movement.

The fan blades are noticeable when they move. If you or a family member is prone to motion sickness or gets dizzy easily, I would not recommend this product.

The only thing I truly liked about this is that the motor is very quiet.

Pros:
- Quiet motor

Cons:
- Poor quality
- Doesn't keep all flies away
- Can cause motion sickness or dizziness

Massage Slippers for TENS Unit

I received the Massager Slippers for TENS Unit through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Massage can be felt up the legs
  • Machine sold separately
  • Probe and snap wire connections (Not included)
  • Adjustable velcro strap
These massage slippers are not the best quality slippers out there. The shoes are made of a foam and rubber.

The material of the shoe can be damaged easily. I recommend not leaving these slippers around where pets or children could get a hold of them.

The shoes are made for short wear and use. They do work with both TENS units I have.

The amount felt with the massage from these shoes depend on the intensity that the TENS unit is set to. The higher the intensity level, the higher up my legs I could feel the massage. It felt strange and relaxing, especially after I was done using them.

The slippers do not come with any cords or the unit. There is a spot to connect a probe or use the snap connectors. Only one type of connection is needed for both feet. The snap connectors I have sat low enough that I couldn't feel them when I had the slippers on.

Pros:
- Massages whole foot and up legs
- Adjustable top strap
- Connections for probe or snap

Cons:
- Low quality

Hands Free Dog Leash

I received the Hands Free Dog Leash through a promotion by Family Bulliez.

Product Info:
  • Goes around waist
  • Adjustable in size (26" to 48")
  • Stretchy and sturdy bungee leash
  • Reflective material
This hands free dog leash is comfortable to wear and is holds up well.

I was a little worried at first to see how sturdy and well this leash could hold up. The leash did impress me.

The waist area is easy to adjust. The waist can be adjusted to 26" to 48". It's made to fit adults. The buckle seems like it'd be the most fragile or the area most likely to come undone, yet I could pull on it with as much force as I could manage and it wouldn't come apart. I have not had it come undone when walking my dogs no matter how much they pull on the leash.

The bungee portion of the leash reminds me of a paracord. It's sturdy and holds it's shape well, yet it's also stretchy and allows movement. The only issue I have with the length of the leash is that it can be a trip hazard if the pet walks beside you or hangs back.

I did notice that if the hooks are put to the outside and the dogs pull on the leash, it could cause your hip to be yanked in a certain direction. It could hurt or cause injuries over time. If the hook is placed in the front, it balances the pulling to the center and reduces stress on the body.

Pros:
- Sturdy
- Reflective material on leash
- Adjustable waste
- Bungee leash
- Hands free

Cons:
- Leash can be trip hazard
- If hook isn't centered, could cause stress on body

Double Head Handheld Massager

I received the Ohuhu Double Head Handheld Electric Massager through a promotion.
Product Info:
  • 3 sets of removable heads
  • Adjustable speed
  • Non-slip grip
  • Relieves muscle tension
  • Enhancing blood circulation
This massager is decent and does helps relieve some muscle tension.

The massager is bigger and bulkier than I expected. The handle has a non-slip grip, but it becomes uncomfortable after awhile due to the size.

The device is easy to turn on and off, as well as adjust the speed. The speed adjustments are nice to have. I like the faster, more intense speeds. The slower speeds is nice in locations that are bony, like the spine, knees, or ankles.

The two heads allow the massage to be in two different places. It helps loosen up the muscles and relieves tension. The massager tends to just vibrate. I had expected it to rotate, but it does not. The entire device tends to vibrate, which can cause the hand or arm of the person who is holding the device to go tingly or numb.

The removable heads slide onto the main knobs or heads of the massager. The styles provide different types of massages and intensity. I've found the heads that have spikes or raised parts help keep the main knobs or heads from hitting the bony areas.

The massager isn't what I would consider lightweight. It's top heavy. The longer one holds the massager, the heavier it feels.

Pros:
- Helps relieve tension
- Adjustable speed
- Easy to turn on
- Non-slip grip
- Two headed
- Removable heads

Cons:
- Cord is average length
- Vibrates, no rotation
- Can hurt on bony areas
- Bulky
- Handle is large, not fully comfortable
- Top heavy, not lightweight
