Foot Elastic Exerciser

I received the Home Gym Pedal Fitness Foot Elastic Exerciser through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Made with latex tube, foam, and plastic
  • Paddle handle
Depending on how one uses the foot pedal elastic exerciser, the exercise equipment can help target and work muscle areas that include the arms, stomach, back, hips, and legs.

The foam handles allow for a comfortable grip and helps prevent slipping during work outs. Depending on how one holds the handles, the handle and latex band can help work different muscle areas on the arm.

The latex band provides an easy to medium type of resistance. It's not to difficult to stretch out the band. The more reps done with this fitness equipment, the more tiring and difficult it can be to work with. At the beginning, it seems easy or fine to work with. My exerciser only had two ropes or latex tubers. It seemed really easy and very little resistance in the beginning.

There are many methods that this equipment can be used for. Each method can target different muscle groups. Although, the methods are not limited to the examples provided by the seller.

The foot pedals or pads do help prevent the feet from slipping. There's not enough room between the straps and the pad to use this equipment if shoes are worn. Socks and bare feet work best. There's ridges on the foot pads to help prevent the feet from slipping.

Pros:
-  Lightweight equipment
- Easy to use
- Several methods to use
- Comfortable grip
- Nonslip foot pedals

Cons:
- Little resistance
(Didn't seem to do much unless many reps were done)
- Foam can easily be ripped
- Not top quality, made fairly cheap

  • High-energy instructor
  • 30min. work outs, 3 times a week

The Fé Fit Women's Workout Program is a nice program for a 30 minute workout or less for a few times a week. This workout program is targeted towards mothers, although the program can work for any female. Although, the world "mommies" and "mom" is used a lot.

The program's exercises do require some equipment that is not included with the product. These items can be a chair, mat, exercise ball, weight, bands, toning circle, etc. Other household items can be used to substitute for the required items.

The booklet that comes with the DVDs includes several different work out programs that one could choose from. Many of which are similar, but different in the amount of exercises done per week. There's 8 disc in the DVD set for the program, which includes cardio, toning, workout, and yoga/stretch. Each disc has several different work out routines and exercises. Follow along with a program guide to know what exercise to do when or switch it up for your own routine.

The instructor for the program is supportive and informative. Although all of the work outs may not be intense with cardio, the muscles do get worked.

The instructor and those helping do show ways to modify many of the workouts in case one would need a less intense or are not able to do certain parts of the exercises.

There are no cool down or warm up stretches at the beginning or end of the exercises. Be sure to do stretches to avoid pulling a muscle

I received the Sportly Push Up Bar through a promotion.
Product Info:
  • Set of 2
  • Allows for greater range in motion
  • Stable
  • Comfortable grips
  • Industrial grade PVC is strong
  • Lightweight
The Sportly Push Up Bars are great to provide more range of motion for work outs. The bars are nice to allow a deeper and harder push up.

These push up bars do come dismantled for shipping purposes.

The push up bars are very easy to put together.

The handle portion of the bars have pegs that stick out that line up with the holes in the bottom portion of the bars.

The cushion on the on the bottom portion of the bars provide a non-slip type of grip. The bar can be used on hardwood, carpeted, grass, or concrete without slipping and sliding while in use.

The handle part of the bars have a similar type of cushion. It provides a comfortable hold and prevents one from slipping on the bars if they get sweaty.

Glass Water Bottle

I received the Glass Water Bottle through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Reusable
  • Contains no plastic
  • 18oz water bottle
  • Silicone sleeve for easy grip and protects glass
  • Heat resistant up to 400 degrees Celsius
  • Resistant to cracking from temp changes up to 150 degrees Celsius
  • Silicone handle is removable
  • Leak-proof
  • Dishwasher safe
The glass water bottle is a great sized water bottle. It's one of the few glass water bottles I own. Usually, I have a metal or plastic water bottle. This glass water bottle helps reduce the amount of plastics that can end up in the trash or landfills. Since the bottle contains no plastic or metal, there is no BPAs or PBs and no plastic or metallic tastes.

I was worried that the glass of the water bottle would break. I was pleased to see that the glass is thick than I thought it would be, so it helps prevent the glass from breaking or being overly fragile. The silicone sleeve also helps protect the glass if it's knocked with something else or keeping it from sliding. The silicone does make it easy that the bottle can be knocked over, but it helps protect the glass from breaking or leaking.

The lid is tough to open to get to the water spout. There's a silicone piece that fits snug in the water spout to help keep this bottle leak-proof. I tried to fill the water bottle with some water and shaking it. The seal held well.

The lid can be screwed off easily for cleaning or filling up the water bottle. To clean, the water bottle is easy. Soap and water works, and the bottle is dishwasher safe.

The silicone handle works well to carry the bottle. There's enough room to stick your hand in the silicone handle and not have it slip. The handle can be removed, which does take a bit of effort. There's little clips the handle has to be removed from, which the silicone fits snuggly in those clips.

This bottle is nice to use and to clean.

Wallet Bottle

I received the Pure+ Wallet Bottle through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 750 mL
  • Water bottle with storage
  • Great for travel, exercise, jogging, gym, yoga, sports, camping, hiking, etc.
  • BPA-free
  • Keyring loop
  • Flip-top release
  • Leak-proof seal
  • Durable and impact resistant
  • Lightweight
The wallet bottle is a great size for a water bottle. It fits about 750 mL of water into the bottle. It's not isolated, so it doesn't keep the water cold.

The snap lid is tough to open, but not impossible. It keeps from having the lid pop open if the water bottle is dropped or bumped into.

There's a keyring slot on the other side of the lid that allows you to use keyrings or other devices to carry this water bottle.

The spout of the water bottle is a medium size. It keeps you from having to squeeze the water bottle to have quick flowing water. There is a seal on the lid that keeps this water bottle from leaking. It didn't leak when I filled it with water and shook it. The seal fits and holds up well.

The hard plastic case on the outside allows you to carry money, id, or credit cards with you and keep it close.

The case opens where the green tab meets with the grey. Don't do like I kept trying to by trying to open it by the grey area.

There is only a small window with the case. If the money or cards are fit in the tab on the green part of the case, the money or credit cards won't be seen.

The bottle is easy to wash with soap and water. The lid can be twisted off for filling it with water or for washing the bottle.

Note: Don't forget to take out money or ids before washing the bottle. The case doesn't keep water out of it.

Check out this bottle on Amazon.

Slendertone Ab Flex Gel Pads

I received Replacement Gel Pads for Slendertone Ab Flex through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Replacement gel pads (3 in each set)
  • Helps conduct electrical pulses that target nerves and muscles
  • Medical grade & FDA approved standards
  • Pads last for 20 to 30 slendertone sessions
When I first got these replacement pads, I was still using the first pair I had on my Slendertone Ab Flex. I just got it earlier this year.

When it came time to replace my pads, I got out the replacement ones. The product description says they're suppose to be a no-mess design. Sadly, 1 or 2 of the replacement pads in each pack had the covers over the gel slip, so they were a bit messy. The same thing happened on the original gel pads that came in my Slendertone Ab Flex, so I wasn't too surprised by the mess the gel from the pads could be.

The gel on the replacement pads I have used have been sticky, yet hold up well. They stick to the ab flex like they're suppose to without moving around, slipping, or falling off.

The gel pads do help conduct the electrical pulses. I don't notice them all the time, but I hadn't before with the original pads either. How much I feel those electrical pulses depends on if I was working out or what I was doing while using the Slendertone Ab Flex and what setting I had the ab flex on.

Overall, the replacement pads I've used have worked well, even though they were a little messy.

Silicon Devices Comfort+ Bluetooth Earphone

I received the Silicone Devices Comfort+ Bluetooth Earphones through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Wireless
  • Different size covers and ear locks
  • Lightweight
  • Clear sound
  • Cancel white noise
When I first saw this product, I was a little worried about how well it would fit or stay on and in my ears. I tend to be pretty picky with my headphones because I don't like them slipping, falling out, or hurting my ears.

When the product arrived, I was impressed with the carrying case and what all came with the earphones. The case was the perfect size to keep all the parts to the earphones that help provide the customized fit in one place.

Out of all the earphones I've tried in the past, this earphone set came with the most covers and ear locks. I was surprised at how much you could customize these earphones to ensure you have the most comfortable fit.

The openings of my ears happens to be pretty small. The earphone set didn't fit the best in my ears. They stuck out a bit. It's not headphones I would where when I'm listening to music while I'm laying down because I tend to turn onto my sides. The ear locks help make sure the earphones stay in place, so these are earphones I'd wear when I'm up and moving.

Charging the earphones is easy. The product includes a USB charging cord, which is similar to the charging cord of an Android phone. The charging cord is short. There are lights to indicate when it's charging and when it's done on the side of the the earphone with the USB port on it.

There is a green looking button on the earphones that turns them on, so you can connect them to your phone, tablet, or other device.

The sound quality of these earphones is very good. It's a clear sound. The mic also works very well. When I've called people while wearing these earphones, they were able to hear me clearly without me having to yell or be very loud.

Long Exercise Bands

I received Long Exercise Bands by URBNFit through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Accessory for workouts, stretching, and rehabilitation
  • Made with professional grade high quality latex rubber
  • Helps improve fitness ability
  • Light weight
  • 3 Long bands for different abilities (light, medium, and heavy resistance)
  • Includes 1 door anchor
  • Band length is 5ft
I've used exercise bands in the past when I worked in a nursing home for stretching and physical therapy before, but I've never actually had any of my own for at home to use.

The long exercise bands by URBNFit bands are made with a very nice latex rubber. It feels nice to the touch, yet it's also easy to grip and doesn't slip much when using the bands for workouts. They feel durable and could last a long while, even with being an accessory to workouts and rehabilitation. The door anchor makes it easy to catch and hold the edge of the door to help provide a solid surface and a different angle for workouts and stretches.

The bands are generally light weight and easy to pack, so they can be taken along for traveling or going to the gym. The medium band is slightly heavier than the light band. The heavy band is slightly heavier than the medium band.

When I first started using the bands, I started with the light band, so I could work my way up. There wasn't much resistance there, but it was still enough to provide more of a stretch and work my muscles more than if I hadn't been using the band. I slowly worked my way up to the medium and heavy bands. The medium band is the one I prefer to work with. There's more resistance there than the light band, but not as much as the heavy band.

These bands work great as an accessory for working out, stretching, rehabilitation, and other exercise programs. It helps stretch and build up your muscles. They work great for using them on the legs, hips, back, arms, etc. I usually used them on my arms because I'm weaker there than in my legs and hips.

Speed Jump Rope

I received the Speed Jump Rope from Bella Naturals through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Lightweight
  • Helps with speed
  • Allows you to burn more calories with increased speed
  • Can help improve cardiovascular health (Jump rope exercises
  • Made with ball bearings that connect handle to rope (Helps increase revolutions per minute)
  • 4 high-grade metal ball bearings (handle to rope)
  • Cable is 10ft long and can be adjusted.
  • Comes with nylon bag for storage
The first thing I noticed about the jump rope is that it was very light weight. The cable feels like you're just picking up a string. It's smaller and lighter than my dogs' dog leashes.

The ball bearings in the handles that help connect it to the rope do help make it move quickly. It allows the handle to spin with the rope without having it twist or turn in your hands.

I love how easy this cable can be adjusted. With being 5'4", the 10 foot cable is too long for me. At first, I wondered what the circle part with the screw was for at the end of the rope. I tried spinning the screw and realized that it was to help hold the handle where you wanted it. It was very quick and easy to adjust.

With adjusted the cable to my height or desired length, there was excess cable that stuck out past the handles. That wire kept butting me, so I decided to pull on the end pieces to see if they came off. They did! It made it easy to cut the cable and put those end pieces back on. No more annoying excess cables for me!
There was only one thing that bothered me about this jump rope. I didn't like the handles. They are small and help keep the rope lightweight, but the handles are uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time. They started to make my hands cramp due to their size and lack of cushion. Plus, the sweatier you are, the harder it is to hold.
