Neck & Shoulder Massager

I received the Naturalico Shiatsu Neck and Shoulder Massager through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Heated
  • Massages muscles to reduce tightness
  • Kneading pressure
  • Four rotating knobs
This neck and shoulder massager provides a decent muscle massage.

The massager comes with a car charger and wall outlet charger. The massager is a bit bulky to bring with on the go, but it can come in handy on long road trips.

The heat and rotation have separate buttons, so they can be turned on and off. This feature comes in handy when you want the kneading of the massage without the heat.

The straps on the massager does make the device seem bigger and bulkier. The straps come in handy when wanting to hold the massager in place. I found that the straps make it easier to change the amount of pressure the massager has by pulling the massager closer or further away by pulling down or letting up on the straps.

The knobs are positioned to hit the neck and shoulder areas. Those with wider shoulder areas may not feel massager cover as much area.

The part I did not enjoy about this massager is the fabric over the knobs. The fabric is very rough and does not feel well on the bare skin, such as on the neck, for more than a few minutes.

Pros:
- Heat
- Buttons that allow to turn on and off the heat or rotation
- Position of the knobs
- Car and outlet charger

Cons:
- Bulky
- Rough fabric over knobs

MeasuPro Non-Contact Thermometer

I received the MeasuPro Non-Contact Forehead & Surface Thermometer through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Reads within seconds
  • No contact needed on surfaces or forehead
  • Uses infrared temperature sensors
  • Comfortable handle
  • Reads from 94.8F to 107.9F (34.9C to 42.2C) on forehead
  • Surface readings from 32F to 212F (0C to 100C)
  • Takes 2 AAA batteries (included)

The MeasuPro thermometer is a nice way to check the temperature on the forehead or other surfaces.

The device is easy to start up by hitting the trigger button.

The thermometer can provide temperature readings for the forehead or other surfaces using the "M" button to change the modes. The image on the screen will change with the mode. There's also a sound button to make it stop beeping when it's taking the reading.

I usually used this with checking temperatures of the body on the forehead. Depending on the distance from the surface being tested, the accuracy or temperature can change. If too far away, the reading won't be accurate.

This device is easier to use, quicker with readings, and easier to see than thermometers I have that go under the tongue. It does take up more room than those thermometers, yet it's easier to clean.

The only issue I had with this thermometer is that I couldn't figure out how to get the device to turn off. I found that after reading the instructions that it automatically turns off after 30 seconds.

Pros:
- No contact needed
- For foreheads and other surfaces
- Comfortable Handle
- Easy to read
- Quick to use
- Easy to clean

Cons:
- Wish there was also a on/off button rather than just the auto turn off after 30 seconds

MeasuPro Tens Unit

I received the MeasuPro Ultra Quiet Handheld Electronic Tens Unit through a promotion.

Product Info:
- Portable
- Takes 3 AAA batteries
- 2 Lead wires
- 4 electrode pads
- Provides pain relief and massages muscles
- Adjustable intensity levels and speeds

The MeasuPro is a pretty decent Tens Unit. It's better and more intense than I expected the unit to be.

The device is an okay size for traveling and portability. I wouldn't carry this device in my purse because it takes up more room than I'd like it to, yet it's something I wouldn't mind taking with in an overnight bag or suitcase for when I'm away from home a longer period of time.

There's two lead in wires and outputs for them. It's nice to use on two different locations, but it's not possible to have one a different intensity than the other.

The massage, knead, and beat all feel good to me. The automatic feature for certain areas, such as the shoulders, joints, legs, and others allow for the 3 modes to be used in a pattern together. Manual allows for one mode to be selected at a time.

The intensity levels surprised me. I was expecting to be able to make it up to at least 7 or higher on the Tens Unit. I could only stand up to intensity level 4. The device is much more intense than what I had figured it'd be.

I was a little disappointed in how quickly the pads loose their stickiness. Wetting them can help get them to regain some of their stickiness, but be sure to let them dry fully before using them again.

Pros:
- Intensity levels range from weak to very strong
- Automatic & Manual modes
- Speed options
- Two lead in wires & outputs

Cons:
- Can't have the two outputs have different intensity levels
- Pads loose stickiness after a few uses

Body Art Face Paint Wheel

I received the Custom Body Art Face Paint Rainbow Wheel Kit through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 32 Face paint color (10 mL of each)
  • 20 Sponges
  • 8 Assorted foam tip brushes
  • Application instructions
  • Applies easily with water, brush, or sponge
  • Washes off easily with soap and water
  • Fast drying
  • Safe on skin (water-based, non-toxic, FDA compliant)
  • Not suitable for children under 3 or those with sensitive skin
  • Store in clean, dry, dust free area out of direct sunlight
The paint wheels have a variety of colors that are great for basic and fantasy face painting styles. There is no stencils with this set. It allows you to use your imagination and creativity to come up with fun face painting creations.

There are a number of bright, glittery, and darker paints for one's face. The paint is safe on the face. I tend to have sensitive skin, but the paint didn't cause me to break out when my niece decided to attack my face with paint.

The paint containers are small and only contain 10 mL of each color. A little bit of the paint can go a long way. Mixing with water and applying with a sponge or brush makes the paint spread out easily and allows you to use less paint. Be careful not to grab clumps of the paint when applying. The clumps will just fall off the sponge or brush. Only a little bit is needed at a time.

The paint can be messy. When my niece was trying to paint my face for fun, she would dig the sponges or brushes into the paint. One doesn't need to use as much force or paint as she was using to get even coat of face paint.

With adding water to the sponge or brush, the paint is easily picked up onto the sponge for application. The lighter colors of the paint need to go over more than one layer to get the colors to pop. The paint dries fairly quickly, so adding layers to the paint to make the colors stand out isn't too difficult. Blending the paint colors needs to be done more quickly with how it dries. The face paint is fun for parties, birthdays, Halloween, carnivals, etc.

The face paint comes off very easily. I was able to use warm water to wash off all the paint my niece put on my face in the short amount of time it was on.

For paint that's has been on the face longer and is dried more, mild soap and water can be used to wash off the face. I would recommend using a cloth, sponge, or towel that you would not mind getting stained to wash off the paint colors. The darker and brighter colors tend to leave a stain after the paint is all washed off.

The sponges are also very easy to clean. Using soap and water, much like on your face, the sponges are able to get clean quickly. The sponges do tend to have a stain left on them as well with darker and brighter colors. The sponges do take a while to dry, so I would suggest leaving them out for a bit to fully get dry. Otherwise, the sponges may mildew if stored away when wet, which isn't good for the sponge or the paint.

Pros:
- Quick drying
- Easy to apply
- Easy to wash off
- Variety of colors

Cons:
- Cheap sponge brushes/tips (they break easily)

Slendertone Ab Flex Gel Pads

I received Replacement Gel Pads for Slendertone Ab Flex through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Replacement gel pads (3 in each set)
  • Helps conduct electrical pulses that target nerves and muscles
  • Medical grade & FDA approved standards
  • Pads last for 20 to 30 slendertone sessions
When I first got these replacement pads, I was still using the first pair I had on my Slendertone Ab Flex. I just got it earlier this year.

When it came time to replace my pads, I got out the replacement ones. The product description says they're suppose to be a no-mess design. Sadly, 1 or 2 of the replacement pads in each pack had the covers over the gel slip, so they were a bit messy. The same thing happened on the original gel pads that came in my Slendertone Ab Flex, so I wasn't too surprised by the mess the gel from the pads could be.

The gel on the replacement pads I have used have been sticky, yet hold up well. They stick to the ab flex like they're suppose to without moving around, slipping, or falling off.

The gel pads do help conduct the electrical pulses. I don't notice them all the time, but I hadn't before with the original pads either. How much I feel those electrical pulses depends on if I was working out or what I was doing while using the Slendertone Ab Flex and what setting I had the ab flex on.

Overall, the replacement pads I've used have worked well, even though they were a little messy.

Slim Extreme 3D Thermo Active Shaping Serum

I received the Slim Extreme 3D Thermo Active Shaping Serum through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Helps reduce appearance of cellulite
  • Thermo fat burner actively reduces fat deposits
  • MDL complex smooths unevenness
  • Improves skin elasticity
  • Caffeine and horsetail extract stimulates metabolism and supports collagen production
  • Contains moisturizing laminaria algae
  • Paraben free
  • 8.8fl oz tube
When I first received this product and saw that it was to help reduce appearance of cellulite, I was a bit nervous that it would smell horrible. Other products I've tried that help reduce the appearance of cellulite smelled really strongly of mint and it was bothersome until I got used to it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this shaping serum smelled like cherries and is a clear, red type serum. The smell doesn't bother me at all.

The first time I put on the serum, I had put it on my stomach and thighs. I was confused at first because it said it was a thermo serum, but it didn't heat up like I thought it would for awhile. I put on this exercising wrap around stomach area. Within 20 minutes, I could tell the shaping serum was starting to warm up. My thigh area where I put the serum didn't get as warm as where I had the wrap on. The heat wasn't bothersome.

After each use of the serum, I could tell my skin felt softer and smoother. I did notice that the cellulite on my thighs weren't so noticeable, especially after I used the product more frequently. I haven't noticed much changes in slimming in the areas I've used the product, but it makes my skin feel and appear much nicer.

Compressions Knee Brace

I received the Compressions Brand Adjustable Knee Brace through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Adjustable Velcro
  • Neoprene (breathable)
  • Spring steel sides provides more lateral support
  • Stabilizes knee
  • One size fits 12" to 18" knee circumference
  • Silicon anti-slip strips
  • Lightweight
  • Flexible

The Compressions Brand Knee Brace is lightweight and easy to put on. The velcro is strong and keeps it's hold through all activities, even working out, walking, or running. The silicon anti-slip strips help keep the brace in place without having it slip or slide while exercising.

The knee brace has holes within the fabric to help make the brace breathable to avoid the knee getting sweaty or having the brace get slippery. It makes the brace more comfortable to wear.

Going up the steps with this knee brace does feel weird because of the thick circle around the knee on the brace. It helps massage the muscle as well as provide support.

The brace helps provide extra support around the knee to avoid having pain or injuries. It can also help with arthritis, tendinitis, meniscus tears, etc.

The only issue I had with the brace is that it smelled like rubber or silicone from the anti-slip strips. The smell took awhile to fade away.

Dual-S Body Fat Scale by Surpahs

I received the Dual-S Body Fat Scale by Surpahs from a promotion.

Product Info:
  • High tempered glass platform
  • 4 User Recognition
  • Measures percentage of body fat, body water, muscle and bone mass, and kcal.
  • Uses 4 AAA batteries
  • Size: 11 x 9.6 x 0.9"
The first thing I noticed with this scale is that there wasn't a lot of protection in the box around the front/top part of the scale. The glass is said to be high tempered, so it's probably stronger than I realize.

The scale takes four AAA batteries to run. One set does come with the scale.

I found that I could only turn on the scale by touching one of the metal strips with my bare foot. It was both bothersome and useful. It bothered me because I couldn't just weight myself with my socks on, so it took more time. The sensors in the metal strip help provide accurate readings. It's was useful, so that if someone accidentally put something on it (which they did), it didn't turn on the scale and waste the battery.

The screen is super easy to read with the blue LCD and the white back-light.

The only issue I had with this scale was the size of it. I felt like I was stepping off or falling off the sides of the scale. I don't have that big of feet, though I may stand with my feet further apart. I'm just not used to a scale that size.

Cellulite with Retinol & Caffeine and Body Firming Cream

I received the Cellulite with Retinol & Caffeine and Body Firming Cream through a promotion.

Product Info:

  • Helps reduce the appearance of cellulite
  • Soothes skin and helps it recover
  • Made in the USA
  • Retinol enhances collagen production, renews skin, and helps tighten and firm the skin.
  • L-Carnitine helps the body metabolize fat
  • Green Tea stimulates the release of stored fat.
  • Glaucine helps reduce fat deposits
  • Coenzyme-A breaks down fat and helps restore connective tissue.
When I first opened the product's lid, I thought I burnt all my nose hairs off. The cream had a really strong minty smell. It was overpowering at first. Once I got used to the smell, after about a minute or so, it wasn't bad.

The cream is pretty runny compared to some of the cellulite creams I've seen. It makes spreading the cream very easy. Not a lot is needed to cover areas with cellulite. I usually used it on my legs, stomach, and arms. The cream did make my skin tingle at first, but that could have been because of the coolness of the product.

I did notice a slight reduction in the appearance of cellulite where I put the product. I would put the product on about once to twice a week. I did not notice much with the firming of skin with how much I used it. If I had used it more frequently, I probably would have seen more results.
