MeasuPro Non-Contact Thermometer

I received the MeasuPro Non-Contact Forehead & Surface Thermometer through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Reads within seconds
  • No contact needed on surfaces or forehead
  • Uses infrared temperature sensors
  • Comfortable handle
  • Reads from 94.8F to 107.9F (34.9C to 42.2C) on forehead
  • Surface readings from 32F to 212F (0C to 100C)
  • Takes 2 AAA batteries (included)

The MeasuPro thermometer is a nice way to check the temperature on the forehead or other surfaces.

The device is easy to start up by hitting the trigger button.

The thermometer can provide temperature readings for the forehead or other surfaces using the "M" button to change the modes. The image on the screen will change with the mode. There's also a sound button to make it stop beeping when it's taking the reading.

I usually used this with checking temperatures of the body on the forehead. Depending on the distance from the surface being tested, the accuracy or temperature can change. If too far away, the reading won't be accurate.

This device is easier to use, quicker with readings, and easier to see than thermometers I have that go under the tongue. It does take up more room than those thermometers, yet it's easier to clean.

The only issue I had with this thermometer is that I couldn't figure out how to get the device to turn off. I found that after reading the instructions that it automatically turns off after 30 seconds.

Pros:
- No contact needed
- For foreheads and other surfaces
- Comfortable Handle
- Easy to read
- Quick to use
- Easy to clean

Cons:
- Wish there was also a on/off button rather than just the auto turn off after 30 seconds

MeasuPro Tens Unit

I received the MeasuPro Ultra Quiet Handheld Electronic Tens Unit through a promotion.

Product Info:
- Portable
- Takes 3 AAA batteries
- 2 Lead wires
- 4 electrode pads
- Provides pain relief and massages muscles
- Adjustable intensity levels and speeds

The MeasuPro is a pretty decent Tens Unit. It's better and more intense than I expected the unit to be.

The device is an okay size for traveling and portability. I wouldn't carry this device in my purse because it takes up more room than I'd like it to, yet it's something I wouldn't mind taking with in an overnight bag or suitcase for when I'm away from home a longer period of time.

There's two lead in wires and outputs for them. It's nice to use on two different locations, but it's not possible to have one a different intensity than the other.

The massage, knead, and beat all feel good to me. The automatic feature for certain areas, such as the shoulders, joints, legs, and others allow for the 3 modes to be used in a pattern together. Manual allows for one mode to be selected at a time.

The intensity levels surprised me. I was expecting to be able to make it up to at least 7 or higher on the Tens Unit. I could only stand up to intensity level 4. The device is much more intense than what I had figured it'd be.

I was a little disappointed in how quickly the pads loose their stickiness. Wetting them can help get them to regain some of their stickiness, but be sure to let them dry fully before using them again.

Pros:
- Intensity levels range from weak to very strong
- Automatic & Manual modes
- Speed options
- Two lead in wires & outputs

Cons:
- Can't have the two outputs have different intensity levels
- Pads loose stickiness after a few uses

MeasuPro Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

I received the MeasuPro BPM-50W Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Monitor blood pressure and pulse rate
  • Memory feature to save past readings
  • 2 User profiles
  • Easy to read backlight and screen
  • BPM-50W records up to 120 blood pressure readings (60 per user)
  • Calculates and averages blood pressure based on last 3 readings
  • Detects irregular heartbeats and any arrhythmias
  • 2 AAA batteries (included)
  • Cuff fits writs cicumference 13.5cm to 21.5cm
  • 2 year manufacturer warranty included
I absolutely love this wrist blood pressure monitor. It makes checking blood pressure and heart rate easy to read.

The compartment where the batteries are stored were easy to find. The 2 AAA batteries were included with the product. The lid to the compartment fits well and stays closed.
Setting the date and time for the device was a little difficult. It kept trying to start the MeasuPro rather than allowing me to change the date or time. It took several times to finally get the date changed and set the way I want to. Although, I did notice that the date and time doesn't always change or update if the device hasn't been used for awhile.

The wrist clamp fits very well. There's velcro works well and stays closed. I love that there's velcro on the other side of the strap to attach the extra length of the strap together, so it doesn't hang or get in the way.

The first time I used the MeasuPro I had it positioned wrong on my wrist because I didn't notice or follow the directions that are shown on the strap of the device. I was worried at first when my blood pressure and heart rate was shown in the yellow of the color indicator and seemed really high.

I tried the product again, and it worked well when I actually followed the directions.

The wrist monitor does close really tight when it's closing around the wrist. It can get a little painful, but it's not too bothersome.

MeasuPro OX100 Instant Read Pulse Oximeter

I received the MeasuPro OX100 Instant Read Pulse Oximeter by MeasuPro through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • The screen view/mode can be rotated, so it doesn't matter which hand it's on.
  • OLED display
  • Comfortable, durable cushion
  • Soft lanyard
  • Black pouch with velcro closure
  • Lightweight
  • Powered by 2 AAA batteries
  • Auto-shut off of 5 seconds

First off, I love how silky and soft the lanyard that came with the oximeter is. It's very nice to handle. The oximeter also came in a nice black pouch that can have your belt go through the loop, so you can always have it on you. The velcro that holds it together it nice and strong, so you don't have to worry about the oximeter falling out.

The oximeter is very easy to use. It takes two AAA batteries, which is included in the package, to run. The batteries are placed in the bottom of the oximeter with the sliding plate to cover it. There's arrows that help you line up the plate to slide it back on.

The on/power button also can change settings or modes for how you view the pulse and blood oxygen levels. There's six different settings on how you view it. You can change the view as it's running.  With a bright blue letting on the OLED display, it makes it super easy to read, whether it's in daylight or at night.

The oximeter reads your blood oxygen level and your pulse quickly. It only takes a few seconds. Inside of the oximeter, where the fingertip is inserted, there's a nice comfortable and durable cushion. I was glad I didn't have to worry about my finger nails ripping the cushion or that it'd become uncomfortable or squeeze my finger too much.

The oximeter also features an auto-shut off if the fingertip is out. It shuts off after five seconds of being inactive.

The manual appears to be in both English and German. (I'm not 100% sure it's German, since I don't know how to read German. It does appear like the way some of the words in German is spelled.) The only issue I have with this oximeter is within the manual where it gives detail about what each level for pulse and blood oxygen means is not in English, it's only what appears to be German.

Other than that, the oximeter itself works fantastic! It's wonderful to have, especially since I have asthma. It helps me know when my blood oxygen level is low and I need to take my inhaler.

MeasuPro Temperature Gun

I received the MeasurPro IRT20 Temperature Gun by Smart Weigh through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer
  • Laser Targeting
  • Can be used for cooking, food prep, automotive diagnostics, HVAC service, electrical troubleshooting, etc.
  • Choose between Celsius or Fahrenheit
  • LCD display with bright back-light
  • Measure range: -50 to 380 degrees Celsius (-58 to 716 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Response time is 500ms
  • Low battery indicator
  • Uses one 9V battery (is included with purchase)
  • Automatic shut off function of 7 seconds
  • Distance to spot ration is 12 to 1

The gun is very light weight and easy to use. The rubber finish on the handle makes it comfortable to hang on to.

The bright back-light makes the gun very easy to read. The numbers are also very easy to read.

You can shut on and off the back-light using the lightbulb button. The laser pointer or targeting can also be shut on and off using the triangle button.

I prefer using the back-light and laser for easy reading and accurate aiming.

I also prefer using Fahrenheit reading because that's what I'm used to.

The gun works great for food prep and cooking. From working in a food service in the past, I know how important it is to keep some food prep (meat, vegetables, uncooked food, etc.) or milk like products in the correct temperature range to avoid food born illnesses.

With how easy this gun is to use, I really wish my past food service work places had these when we had to take temperatures with the food. It avoids having to deal with cross-contamination because there's no contact with the food. It also saves from having to clean it after every temperature reading like a normal thermometer.
