FSL Reflex Bluetooth Sport Earbuds

I received the FSL Reflex Bluetooth Sport Earbuds through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Easy to use
  • Hardcase package
  • Several different sized rubber eartips
  • Water resistant
These bluetooth earbuds come with a variety of eartips. This gives you a choice between the different sizes for the best fitting eartips to help cancel out outside noises and keep the earbuds in the ear.

These earbuds are slightly too big for my ears. They don't fit or stay in my ears the best, even with the smallest eartip. It's not the eartip that causes the problem for me. It's the earbud piece that's bigger. It makes it stick outside my ear and either catches on my hair or slips out of my ear. If I'm holding still, the headphones stay in fine. I've always had issues with many different headphones due to my smaller ears. Those with medium sized or bigger ears shouldn't have this same problem.

The headphones are easy to charge. The charging cord plugs into one of the earbuds. The speaker and volume controls of the headphones will have a red indicator light when it's charging and a blue light when it's done.

The power, place, speaker button on the headphone's wire is what turns on or off these headphones. You have to press the "play" button for several seconds until a pinkish light comes on indicating that it's on. The light will flash red and blue when it's searching for a device. It's fairly easy to connect.

The sound is very nice. The sound range is wonderful and balanced. There's enough bass to give music depth, yet not too much that it becomes overpowering. The bluetooth connection is strong and keeps the sound quality excellent, but the bluetooth range is short. It only stays up for less than five feet.

Pros:
- Good sound quality
- Balanced
- Good bass
- Easy to connect and use
- Indicator light to show charge
- Variety of eartips

Cons:
- Earbud part is too big that it doesn't fit in my small ears
- Short bluetooth range

Krazilla Bluetooth Speaker

I received the Krazilla Home Lux Bluetooth Speaker through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 2.5" black speaker mesh top
  • Built in microphone
The first thing I noticed when I got the Krazilla Home Lux Bluetooth Speaker is that I had ordered blue. That doesn't look blue. I never received any message saying, "By the way, we're out of blue, but we have yellow."

I noticed that the four buttons all look alike. I didn't know there was any image to the buttons until I tilted the speaker and had the light hitting it just right to see what button was what. There is directions and information on the buttons on the back of the box the speaker comes in.

The cords were included with the speaker, which is great. It makes connecting it to a device very quick and easy. The cords all stay within the speaker well and don't wiggle.

The speaker comes with it's battery and it can be replaced.

The on/off sliding button is located on the back of the speaker.

The speaker is easy to connect via bluetooth, but the connection isn't great. The speaker skips at times, especially if you have it connected to your phone and a message comes in. The speaker when the bluetooth is working correctly does have a good sound to it. You're able to hear the music, lyrics, etc. clearly. The microphone that is built into the speaker also works fine.

The bluetooth connectivity didn't seem to last as far away as it claimed to. I could go to a few rooms away with the speaker and leave my phone in my room and have it still work, but the connection didn't last 30 feet.

Pros:
- Comes with battery and cords
- Easy to connect

Cons:
- Picture on buttons is hard to see
- Bluetooth connection gets lost or skips
- Not the color ordered
- Glue on product doesn't stick (black decal and rubber on bottom)

Bluetooth Waterproof Speaker

I received the Portable Bluetooth Outdoor/Waterproof Speaker by AYL through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • 5-watt Audio
  • Stronger bass and high quality sound
  • Great for outdoor sports, travel, cycling, camping, hiking, running, fishing, etc.
  • 12 hours of battery life
  • Recharges in 3 hours
  • Uses bluetooth 4.0 technology
  • 33 feet range
  • Protected against low pressure water stream (Not submersible)
When I opened the package for this product, I was very impressed with how the speaker looked and felt. I had not expected the speaker to feel so durable and heavy duty. The speaker is slightly heavy compared to other waterproof speakers I've tried. It's heavier due to the battery and the durability of the speaker. It's truly built for the outdoors.

The speaker came with a black carrying bag that is thick to help protect the speaker and the wires. It helps keep the product all together. The wires included are to help charge the speakers or connect it to a device if it can't connect via bluetooth.

The speaker comes with a strap that is attached. The strap is there to carry the case, connect it to a backpack or a bike, to hang the speaker, etc. The strap is thick and strong. It won't break if the speaker gets pulled on or if the speaker is moving a bunch. (I tried to pull on the strap to see how sturdy it was. The strap stretched some, yet it went back to it's original shape quickly after I let go. It may stay stretched if it was pulled on for a very long period of time. Other than that, the strap held up very well.)

The power, volume buttons, and the pause/play button is on the side of the speaker. They're easy to press and do not stick. The power button does need to be pressed for a few seconds to turn on or off the device. The device will may a sound when it powers up or down to let you know. There will also be a light on one of the sides of the speaker in the upper left corner to let you know the device is turned on, connecting to a bluetooth device, or is connected.

The speaker's audio jack and charging port is located on one of the sides under a cover that can be lifted up to provide room for the cords. The device takes about 3 hours to full charge and can last for several hours. Connecting via bluetooth will drain the battery quicker than using the audio jack connection.

The charging area does not completely seal out water. For a low pressure water, splashes of water, or sprinkles of water, the device is protected from. The device is not made for submersion. The wetter it gets, the more muffled the sound will be until it dries.

The sound quality of the speakers are great for the type of music I normally listen to! It's a very nice, clear sound. The bass is strong, yet it's not over powering or makes it hard to hear the lyrics of songs. The balance of the bass and sound quality with these speakers is great. Although, the louder you go with the speaker volume, the sound can get a bit distorted on certain songs. Very strong bass music can cause issues with sound quality.

The bluetooth connected synced quickly with my phone. I just turned on my bluetooth with my phone and was searching with the speaker on. My phone quickly found the speaker and I was able to sync the devices with no troubles.

The range is decent. I left my phone upstairs in my room and wondered around the house. I would loose connection no the next level of the house on the opposite side of the house from where my bedroom is.

Pros:
- Durable
- Battery power length
- Bluetooth connectivity
- High quality sound & bass

Cons:
- Bulky
- No skip or back buttons

Taylor Bluetooth Smart Scale

I received the Taylor Bluetooth Body Fat Smart Scale through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Uses SmarTrack App (free app) on Android and Apple products
  • Works on devices with Bluetooth 4.0 or higher
  • Tracks weight, body fat, body water, and muscle mass
  • Can be viewed on app through data or chart forms
  • Can be conntected to others apps (myfitnesspal, RunKeeper, and mapmyfitness)
  • Scale has a calorie feature that calculates maximum calorie intake needed to maintain current weight
  • Supports up to 8 profiles/users
  • 11.8" x 11.8" durable, tempered glass platform
  • Dual-line 3" x 2" readout
  • Switch read of Ibs or kgs
  • Takes 3AAA batteries (included

When I first opened the Taylor body scale, I didn't think it came with batteries because I couldn't find them. I had expected them to be loose in the box or attached to the scale some how. I happened to look over at the cardboard that helped protect the scale and found the batteries taped to one of them.

The scale does take 3 AAA batteries to run. The battery compartment is on the backside of the scale. It's easy to find and open. The battery compartment does have images indicating which direction each battery is suppose to face.

The size of the scale is perfect. It's not too large where it's taking up a lot of room. It's also not too small where my feet would be falling or hanging off the edge. The 11.8" x 11.8" platform is an excellent size.

The scale connected to with my phone and the SmarTrack app with ease. Although, when I hit the connection button, it changed the unit reading to kg. I was so confused when I started up the scale the next time to see it reading out differently. I didn't realize I changed the unit reading as well when I connected the scale. I hit the unit/connection button again to change the reading back. It did not unconnect the scale from my phone when I hit the button again.

The app's layout is easy and user friendly to view. I prefer reading the data using the chart form to see my previous weigh-ins to my current one.

The scale reading was in large number or letters. It was easy to see in the readout screen. The scale reads out body fat percentage, current weight, maximum calorie intake to maintain weight, muscle mass, and body water. The scale allows you to set up 8 profiles. Setting up even one of these profiles was frustrating to me because it wouldn't let me set it at first. It kept just reading out the profile rather than blinking to where I can reset or set the info. While setting up a profile, you're able to set up a weight goal (which during the read out it'll tell you the goal weight difference from your current weight) and you can set up how athletic you are.

I loved the weight goal difference reading. It was fun see how far off or how close I was to reaching a goal.

One of the times I flipped the scale back over, the rubber piece on the floor stands came off. The sticky part got stuck to the floor. It was easy to peel off the ground. It was still sticky, so I stuck it back on the stand.

Silicon Devices Comfort+ Bluetooth Earphone

I received the Silicone Devices Comfort+ Bluetooth Earphones through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Wireless
  • Different size covers and ear locks
  • Lightweight
  • Clear sound
  • Cancel white noise
When I first saw this product, I was a little worried about how well it would fit or stay on and in my ears. I tend to be pretty picky with my headphones because I don't like them slipping, falling out, or hurting my ears.

When the product arrived, I was impressed with the carrying case and what all came with the earphones. The case was the perfect size to keep all the parts to the earphones that help provide the customized fit in one place.

Out of all the earphones I've tried in the past, this earphone set came with the most covers and ear locks. I was surprised at how much you could customize these earphones to ensure you have the most comfortable fit.

The openings of my ears happens to be pretty small. The earphone set didn't fit the best in my ears. They stuck out a bit. It's not headphones I would where when I'm listening to music while I'm laying down because I tend to turn onto my sides. The ear locks help make sure the earphones stay in place, so these are earphones I'd wear when I'm up and moving.

Charging the earphones is easy. The product includes a USB charging cord, which is similar to the charging cord of an Android phone. The charging cord is short. There are lights to indicate when it's charging and when it's done on the side of the the earphone with the USB port on it.

There is a green looking button on the earphones that turns them on, so you can connect them to your phone, tablet, or other device.

The sound quality of these earphones is very good. It's a clear sound. The mic also works very well. When I've called people while wearing these earphones, they were able to hear me clearly without me having to yell or be very loud.

Bluetooth Celfie Stick

I received the Bluetooth Celfie Stick through a promotion.

Product Info:
  • Helps up your selfie game
  • Strong mount that you can move and tighten into place
  • Connects to phone with bluetooth
  • Shutter button is on the handle
  • Comes with charging cord
  • Extends about 3 ft.
First thing I noticed with this selfie stick was that it was apart when it arrived. The stick was very easily accessible. All parts can be tightened to ensure that your phone does not drop or fall out.

The part that holds your phone is screwed in at the base.

To ensure that the base is tight onto the stick, there is a spinning wheel that is attached to the screw. Spin until tight.

This tab stretches to allow you to put your phone in with a tight grip.

Sadly, my Android (Samsung Galaxy 4) does not fit in the clamp when it's in the otterbox. The clamp is a few centimeters too small. The phone does fit without the case on, which makes me nervous. iPhones, since they are thinner, shouldn't have a problem even when in a case. My iTouch fit perfectly, which is a similar size to the iPhone 5 and has an otterbox case on it. Even with the case, there was still room to spare.

This tab is located on the side of the stick at the base of where your phone is. This tab allows you to tilt the mount with your phone to any desired angle you want. Make sure you tighten this back up or your phone may drop or wiggle on the mount.

This allows you to get the perfect angle you want.

Angling the mount with this tab and extending the length of the stick allows you to get a different perspective or view in the photo each time.

The nice thing about this stick is that there is no extra remote to carry around. The stick can be bluetooth connected to your phone. The shutter button to take the photos is located on the handle.
To turn on bluetooth, slide the switch into the "On" position on the bottom of the celfie stick handle. The charging port is also located at the bottom of the handle.

Be sure to shut off the bluetooth to avoid wasting battery when it's not in use.

I was a bit nervous trying the celfie stick out, which you can tell in the photo. I was afraid my phone would drop since it was not in it's case. With it being an Android and having an otterbox case, it was just a few centimeters too big for the mount. The amount of perspective and distance the selfie stick can get is very nice. I was impressed with how far back you can see compared to a normal selife.

Water Resistant Bluetooth Speaker

I received the Liztek JSS-100 HD Water Resistant Bluetooth 3.0 Shower Speaker through a promotion.

Product Info:

  • Comes in yellow, blue, or green
  • High Definition
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Universal compatibility
  • 6 hours of playtime
  • Access to handfree talking, volume up, volume down, skip, backwards, pause, play, and power buttons.
  • Water resistant
I always listen to music while I'm in the shower, so this works great. It beats trying to listen to my phone playing music over the shower and being stuck with songs I don't want to listen to at that moment.

It's very easy to charge, though the charging port cover can easily fall out or get lost.

The suction to the suction cup works great. At least, it does until a little dog gets a hold of it when it's charging. The suction cup stills works with the dog's chew marks on it. It just has to be pushed onto the shower wall harder.

It's very easy to connect via bluetooth to any device. I've connected it to my phone and to my iPod.

The power, skip, backward, handfree talking, pause, and play buttons were easy to find.

One of the issues I had with this speaker was not knowing about the volume buttons until I was writing this review. I didn't realize that you just had to hold the skip button for volume up and the backwards button for volume down.

The only other issue I had with the speaker was that the sound can get sharp with certain songs. It can hurt the ears. Most of the time, the sound is perfect.

And, no matter how many times the speaker gets wet, it still works great.

I received the Weight Gurus Bluetooth Smart Scale through a promotion.

  • Easy-to-Read
  • 3.25" LCD screen with large numbers and bright blue backlight
  • Measures weight, body mass index, lean mass, body fat, water weight, and bone mass

  • 5 year warranty
  • Uses 4 AAA batteries
  • Stainless Steel Conductors
  • 8 User Memory
  • Tempered safety glass platform
  • Weighs up to 400Ibs
  • List of all Bluetooth compatibility can be found here.

First thing I noticed when received this scale was how well protected it was in the packaging. I've received other scales where the glass front is not well protected. Items can get broken in shipping very easily, which I'm always worried about. I was very pleased to see how well the company protects their product.

There was a sticker right on the front of the scale stating what App (WeightGURUS) works with bluetooth to help sync and track the weighing information. The App then gives you instructions on how to sync the scale and the user to the smartphone app.

I did have a bit of difficulty with trying to set up the users to the scale and sync it to the app with different users. It kept replacing the first user to the new synced device, rather than syncing to the next available user. It took a few tries to get it right.

The scale is super easy to read with several measurements that get taken. I was impressed with how much information the scale provides. I also really liked how it was set up on the App when the information was synced.

Note: the syncing does not work unless the Bluetooth is turned on on the Smartphone.

Check this scale out on amazon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
