iLucky Portable Mini LED Selfie Light

The iLucky Portable LED Light is an okay external device to help provide better lighting for pictures.

The device can be attached to cell phones through the audio jack. It can be rotated to face front or back to provide lighting for either direction.

The light has a manual switch to turn the light on or off. The light is very bright.

Unfortunately, the adjustable light feature did not work with my Android phone. My phone did not recognize the light. The light also can not be fully plugged into the phone when a bulky case is on.

The light can be recharged using a usb port. The light charges at an average rate.

Pros:

- Provides better lighting for photos

- Bright light

- Lightweight

- Manual on/off switch

Cons:

- Easy to lose

- Doesn't fit in phone when bulky case is on

- Adjustable lighting did not work with my phone

The dual port charger is designed nicely. The aluminum finish gives the charger a shining, professional appearance. 

Both ports work well and will adjust charge based on the power of output the charger is placed into. The charger is able to detect a full party and switches to a saver mode for the device to protect the battery from being over charged. The powerful charger does make the device's battery warm when it's charging. Both ports can be used at once and doesn't affect the speeding of the device charging when one more than is connected to the charger. 

The size of the charger is small. It's easy to store. No cord comes with it.

The charger I got was picky on it's positioning. The blue light wouldn't always come on in certain positions. It can be difficult to see the blue indicator light if it's bright outside. At night, the blue LED light is easy to see, but the light is not so bright that it's distracting.

Once the charger is placed properly and is working, it does charge a device fast. It was able to charge my cell phone and tablet fairly well.

Gnome Workshop Portable Charger

I received the Gnome Workshop Portable High Speed Charger through a promotion.

First thing I noticed about the Gnome Workshop's portable charger is that it has a slight weight to it. The charger doesn't weight a pound, but if in a purse or back pocket, it will make where you stuck the charger slightly heavier. 

The charger is high speed, as the product description states. It can charge a device quickly. The charger doesn't heat up the battery in the phone with it's quick charge, but the charger itself does get a bit warm near where the light indicators are. It's not warm to the point where it will burn you, but it's warm enough that you'll notice the temperature difference. 

The indicator lights are a bit hard to see. The blue lights can be seen well, but it's hard to determine which box that light is coming from. If you look very closely and at the right angle, you can determine the charge based on the indicator lights.  

The portable charger has a built-in LED flashlight. The flashlight is very bright. To turn the flashlight on, press on the power button and hold it for awhile until the light comes on. To shut it off, hit the power button twice.

I did notice that this portable charger does take a while to charge. I could charge it for four hours and have it reach maybe one or two boxes on the indicator. To get a full charge, I had to leave the portable charger plug-in to charge overnight.

First thing I noticed about this selfie stick was the compact design. I love that the cradle is foldable. It makes storing the stick so much easier! I can fit it in my purse without it taking up too much room. 

The turning knob allows you to adjust the angle you wish to have your phone at with the cradle. If you're phone is in the cradle, I highly suggest locking it in at an angle, so it doesn't flop down and fall out of the cradle. The cradle holds onto a phone quite well, but it's better to be safe than sorry. 

The cradle has a great anti-slip rubber piece that helps hold onto the phone and also helps protect it from getting scratched from the metal underneath the rubber piece. The cradle is able to hold onto my Samsung Galaxy S4 with it's bulky outerbox case on it. 

This selfie stick is bluetooth enabled, which I love. It beats having to plug in the selfie stick to your phone.

You can charge the selfie stick using a USB charging cord, the same ones that can charge an Android phone.

The selfie stick doesn't really have an "on/off" button. The button with the camera on it can be used to turn on the selfie stick. Just press the button and a light will come on on the button. To turn off, press and hold the button until it flashes quickly and goes out.

To connect to bluetooth, use the camera button on the selfie stick. The light will do a slow, steady flash when it's scanning or searching. It'll be listed under the name "GadgetMonkee" when you try to connect it to your phone or device.


The selfie stick can go from 7.2" when folded down or 32" when fully extended. It's light weight and easy to hold. Although, sticking a heavier phone or device in the cradle will make it more top heavy.

The selfie stick works well to take quick pictures. There is a slight delay between when you press the button on the selfie stick to when it takes the picture. Usually about a second or two delay, nothing major.

As to my knowledge, you're not able to take videos with this selfie stick. I tried, but it wouldn't work. The selfie stick does focus if you press and hold the camera button on the selfie stick.

Overall, it's a nice quality for a selfie stick. It's easy to use. The handle is a non-slip grip. The stainless steel extendable part is sturdy. The cradle can extend to hold bulkier phones and cases.

IPhone 5/6 Light Up Charging Cable

I received the Light Blue iPhone 5/6 Light Up Charger Cable through a promotion.

When I first received the light up cable, I was impressed with how heawvy duty the cables seems. The cable is a thicker cord that won't break or bend as easily. 

I love the look of the cord. It's different than other cords I've tried. It's fun and adorable.  

The light up part of the cord changes colors. I love to use this cord during the day with the changing color lights. It's fun.

It's not a cord I like to use at night. I like my bedroom dark, and the lights are too bright. 

The lights don't cause the cord to get too hot or over heat if left charging a long period of time.

The cord is a decent length. It's 3.25Ft long. It's not as long as most cords I prefer to use, but it's still usable and preforms well.

Silicon Devices Comfort+ Bluetooth Earphone

I received the Silicone Devices Comfort+ Bluetooth Earphones through a promotion.

When I first saw this product, I was a little worried about how well it would fit or stay on and in my ears. I tend to be pretty picky with my headphones because I don't like them slipping, falling out, or hurting my ears.

When the product arrived, I was impressed with the carrying case and what all came with the earphones. The case was the perfect size to keep all the parts to the earphones that help provide the customized fit in one place. 

Out of all the earphones I've tried in the past, this earphone set came with the most covers and ear locks. I was surprised at how much you could customize these earphones to ensure you have the most comfortable fit. 

The openings of my ears happens to be pretty small. The earphone set didn't fit the best in my ears. They stuck out a bit. It's not headphones I would where when I'm listening to music while I'm laying down because I tend to turn onto my sides. The ear locks help make sure the earphones stay in place, so these are earphones I'd wear when I'm up and moving.

Charging the earphones is easy. The product includes a USB charging cord, which is similar to the charging cord of an Android phone. The charging cord is short. There are lights to indicate when it's charging and when it's done on the side of the the earphone with the USB port on it. 

There is a green looking button on the earphones that turns them on, so you can connect them to your phone, tablet, or other device. 

The sound quality of these earphones is very good. It's a clear sound. The mic also works very well. When I've called people while wearing these earphones, they were able to hear me clearly without me having to yell or be very loud.

K2R-803 Portable Power Bank

I received the K2R-803 Portable Power Bank through a promotion.

The first thing I notice when I received this product was the container or box the power bank came in. It was well protected and convenient. The package contained the power bank, as well as LED micro and lightning cables. Both cables are a good three feet if not longer. 

The cables were nice and durable. They're thicker, so they're not as easily bent or broken. There is a light on the end of each of the cables that light up when the device (a cellphone, tablet, etc.) is charging. 

The power bank is easy to charge. Using the micro cable with an outlet/plug-in, the power bank takes several hours to fully charge. I usually charge it during the night, so it's charged by morning when I can take it with me.

The power bank weighs about 8 ounces. It's lightweight compared to many other power banks I've tried.

The two lights that make up the flashlight are very bright. They're above the Out 2A port.

The 4 LED lights that indicate how much the device is charged can be a bit difficult to see how much charge is truly left. All four lights end up being lit or look lit, even if there's only one 25% left to the battery or charge. A few of the blue lights will be brighter appearing than the others, which the brighter lights are how much charge is left.

I was confused the first few times I used this device because I wondered why the charged never seemed to go down until it was completely dead. That's when I noticed the issue with the LED lights indicator. They all look lit, but there will be a few that are brighter to show the charge.

I've gotten 2-3 full charges to my cell phone with the power bank without having to recharge the power bank. I had used my phone during the time it was charging on the power bank. If I had not been using it, I would have gotten more full charges out of the power bank.

The power bank doesn't overheat my phone when it's charging. Out 1A port charges the fastest.

Overall, this has been a very good power bank that's light weight and holds several full charges. I'm impressed with how well it worked.

Mini Flexible Tripod Stand for Cell Phone

When I first received this tripod, the first thing that I noticed was how lightweight the tripod was. It surprised me. The lightness makes it easy to carry around with you when traveling, camping, hiking, etc. 

There's a rubber or silicone tab that you may pull on to fit the phone into the clamp. The clamp holds the phone tight to keep it from falling. The clamp does not fit on the phone length wise, but the swivel ball allows you to angle the phone up and down with the clamp holding the phone sideways. Bonus: The clamp spreads wide enough that you can fit a phone in without taking off it's case, even with an Otterbox.

The swivel ball allows you to angle the phone in all different directions. Although, I did notice the swivel ball can pop out if the clamp is pulled on too hard. The screw that helps close a clamp around the swivel ball does not close tight enough or the clamp doesn't go high enough to ensure that the ball stays in place. That could make less angles possible or that swivel ball to move as much as it can currently. 

The legs or stands has a soft fabric over the legs to help provide some grip and comfort with holding the tripod. The rubber feet at the button helps hold the tripod in place from sliding around. The legs are flexible, so it is able to be wrapped around a pole or surface. I just wish the legs had more of a gripper on them to make sure it is held in place.

When I first got this power bank and wall charger, I didn't think it'd hold much. I figured it either be a really slow charge or not that much power. I am very pleased to say I was wrong in my original thought of the power bank. 

This power bank is able to charge my android twice, if I use all the power the power bank can hold. It charges similar to when charging a cell phone from the wall or outlet. It isn't a super fast charge, but it's also not a slow one. It doesn't over heat the battery. 

The charger can get a little warm when charging the device, but it does not get overheated or hot.

I love that the power bank can be charged by a wall outlet, which it has the wall charger attached to it, or by a USB outlet (computer, vehicle, wall, etc.).

I usually keep the wall charger and power bank together. I only take them apart to get the prongs out on the all charger to charge the power bank. Otherwise, I keep them together when I'm using the portable power bank. 

This portable charger is fairly light and can fit in your purse or pocket. It makes it easy to carry around without adding too much extra weight. 

I love that you can see the power bank's LED lights to indicate how much power is in the device and when it's fully charged. The lights can be bright, so I don't charge it in my bedroom at night. It does take a few hours to fully charge. (The more power within the power bank already, the less time it takes to charge.)

The power button and USB plug in on the bottom side (or top, depending on how you have it plugged into the wall to charge) allows you to charge your cell phone or tablet while charging the power bank.

Dash Mate Vent Mount Holder

When I first received this vent mount, I wasn't sure if it'd fit with how wide the back part was that gets attached to the vent. It didn't fit on my vent on the thin part of the bars. It'd slip and fall off if it got bumped. 

I tried it on the thicker part of my vents, which is the part that allows you to move the vent from side to side. It fit snug on there and was able to hold the mount in place without moving or wiggling. It didn't close or mess with my vent either. 

The mount is great for if you're using your phone for a GPS. It keeps it at eye level without obstructing the view with your windshield. 

It keeps your phone within reach if you're using it for music or bluetooth. It allows you to press a few quick buttons without having to take your eyes off the road much. 

It allows you to know where your phone is in the vehicle at all times.

TUO-Phone Case

I received the TUO-Phone Case through a promotion.

This phone case works for smaller phones, such as the iPhone 5 and under. iPhone 6 and Andriods do not fit in this case.

I have an Andriod, so this phone case doesn't fit my phone. I used it for my old broken iPod (which is what I mainly use for music) and my newer iPod (which I use for games). The phone case fit both of those iPods with their cases on. The newer iPod has an otterbox on it, so it fits in the rear pocket. The other fits with it's rubber case in the front pocket.

The leather material of the phone case is durable. The soft, velvet, inner lining helps protect the content in the case from getting any nicks or scratches.

I'm used to a portable charger that's huge and chunky. The +LifeGuard Mini 1 Portable Charger is so much smaller, like 1/3 of the size of my other charger. It's so much easier and lighter to carry around. It doesn't hold as much charge as my bigger charger, but it can still charge 1 full charge to 1 1/2 full charges. It just depends on how much I use my phone during and after the charge.

One main thing I like is that this charger does not cause my phone to overheat and neither does the charger. My other charger gets extremely warm during use. The aluminum shell on the +LifeGuard Mini 1 causes the portable charger to get very cool if left out in the cold.

The only issue I've had with this charger is not knowing how much charge is left on it. I can't see if there's a partial or full charge on it unless I'm charging the portable charger.
