The paint wheels have a variety of colors that are great for basic and fantasy face painting styles. There is no stencils with this set. It allows you to use your imagination and creativity to come up with fun face painting creations.

There are a number of bright, glittery, and darker paints for one's face. The paint is safe on the face. I tend to have sensitive skin, but the paint didn't cause me to break out when my niece decided to attack my face with paint.

The paint containers are small and only contain 10 mL of each color. A little bit of the paint can go a long way. Mixing with water and applying with a sponge or brush makes the paint spread out easily and allows you to use less paint. Be careful not to grab clumps of the paint when applying. The clumps will just fall off the sponge or brush. Only a little bit is needed at a time.

The paint can be messy. When my niece was trying to paint my face for fun, she would dig the sponges or brushes into the paint. One doesn't need to use as much force or paint as she was using to get even coat of face paint.

With adding water to the sponge or brush, the paint is easily picked up onto the sponge for application. The lighter colors of the paint need to go over more than one layer to get the colors to pop. The paint dries fairly quickly, so adding layers to the paint to make the colors stand out isn't too difficult. Blending the paint colors needs to be done more quickly with how it dries. The face paint is fun for parties, birthdays, Halloween, carnivals, etc.

The face paint comes off very easily. I was able to use warm water to wash off all the paint my niece put on my face in the short amount of time it was on.

For paint that's has been on the face longer and is dried more, mild soap and water can be used to wash off the face. I would recommend using a cloth, sponge, or towel that you would not mind getting stained to wash off the paint colors. The darker and brighter colors tend to leave a stain after the paint is all washed off.

The sponges are also very easy to clean. Using soap and water, much like on your face, the sponges are able to get clean quickly. The sponges do tend to have a stain left on them as well with darker and brighter colors. The sponges do take a while to dry, so I would suggest leaving them out for a bit to fully get dry. Otherwise, the sponges may mildew if stored away when wet, which isn't good for the sponge or the paint.

Pros:
- Quick drying
- Easy to apply
- Easy to wash off
- Variety of colors

Cons:
- Cheap sponge brushes/tips (they break easily)
