I'm one who is always up for a good neck massage or any type of massage. It's comforting and helps relax me.
The Syono Shiatsu Neck Massager is made with a thick plastic. It's not hollow, which made me feel comfortable and confident that it wouldn't break during use. The handles are thicker, which makes it easier to hold on to. The rollers are softer and reminds me of thick rubber.
When I first received the Syono Shiatsu Neck Massager, I wasn't really sure how well it would work. It didn't seem like a neck could fit in between the rollers. There was no directions that really came with the product or package. I was confused.
It took me several tries to figure out how to get it to work where it actually massages your neck and doesn't just try to pinch or cause pain.
The rollers should be angled down in the middle and the handles should be pointed up to help provide the rolling massage when one is doing the lower neck and middle neck.
When doing the upper neck or near the head, the rollers should be pointed up in the middle and the handles should be facing down to help with the rolling massage.
This neck massage applies a lot of pressure, which to me feels great. It feels like it's providing a deep massage.
If you're one who doesn't like a lot of pressure with your massages, this neck massager may seem painful.
Warning: If you have long hair, have it up in a bun or pony tail to avoid it getting caught in the rollers. It hurts if you do and can be a pain to get unstuck.
