Flickering Flameless Candles

I received the Flickering Flameless Candles through a promotion.

The flameless candles are cute addition to decors in any room of the home or office.

Each of the three candles takes three AAA batteries. Although the flameless candle claims to be energy saving, it does take a quite a bit of batteries and energy to make these candles work. Having 9 AAA batteries around the house isn't something I always have available.

The candles are able to be turned off or set onto a timer. This helps limit the amount of time the candles are on and helps limit the amount of energy the candles use.

The candles provide a warm glow.

The "flame" portion of the candle did concern me. The plastic flame is very thin and seems flimsy. The flame is attached to a very thin shaft.

Air movement helps move the plastic flame to create the candle or flame appearance.

Although the flameless candle claims to be safe to use around children and pets, the plastic flame of the candle seems a bit too fragile to be used or left where children or pets can reach the candles.

The remote takes a CR2025 battery that can be changed if the original one that comes with the product dies.

The remote allows you to set the timers, turn on and off the candles, and change different settings. These settings include the brightness of the warm light and the speed of the movement for the flickering light.

Pros:

Kahn Decor Candle Holder

I received the Kahn Decor Candle Holder with Romantic Love Quote through a promotion.

The Kahn Decor Candle Holder is an adorable addition to most decor themes or styles. The holder works well as a centerpiece, on an end table or shelf, or any other location. The silver looking holder will reflect the nearby colors that helps make it match the current decor.

The decor candle holder is made of durable glass that's engraved with the love quote. The glass is thick and made in a way that it won't get broken easily. The glass on the bottom for example is thick and sturdy. It's well balanced and lays flat on the surface it's put on.

There's three sides that has the love quote engraved into the glass. On one of the sides, the "Love" was faded and difficult to see. The other three sides had the entire quote easily read and seen. The reflective silver on the holder can make it difficult to read in bright lighting. If there's a candle inside the holder, the quote can be seen in any lighting. It looks best in darker areas because the candles create a warm glow with this holder and makes the words pop.

The quote, "Love is just a world until someone comes along and gives it meaning," is very cute. It's romantic, true, and very relate-able. The quote does not have to be relating to a romantic relationship. The quote can stand true for families or any other relationship where one loves and cares of another.

The outside of the glass tends to get a lot of fingerprints on the glass. The glass can easily be wiped off and cleaned. 

The inside of the holder is large enough to hold a tealight or other small candles. I prefer using flameless LED like candles. They're less messy and I don't have to worry about flames or heat in this holder or in my room. 

Pros:

- Nice love quote

- Durable glass

- Sits flat (no wobble)

Cons:

- Gets fingerprints on glass (but can be cleaned/wiped off easily)

- "Love" was faded on one side

Wax Flameless CAndles

 

I received the Real Wax Battery-Powered Flameless Candles by Ohuhu through a promotion.

The Ohuhu Wax Flameless Candles are very fun to use as decor pieces or to add a little light to a dark room or area. 

The candles feel like they're made out of wax, which they are. The feel of the candles is very slick and leaves a slight oily or wax type feeling on your hands when you touch them. The wax candles can get dirty easily. The sizes of the candle help give a variation in appearance and makes the candles look well if they are together or separated. 

The battery compartments are at the bottom of the candles. Each compartment was easy to open and close. The candles all took 3 AAA batteries each. That's a lot of batteries, which is probably my biggest issue or disappointment with the product. Most of the batteries go in fine. I had 2-3 of them that got stuck on the edge or spring that I had to push down more than the others. It made me slightly worried that I'd break the springs or battery compartment, but it held up well. Be careful when sitting down the candles. If they are knocked over or put down too heavily, the battery compartment does pop open. It's an easy fix. 

The on/off switch is also on the bottom of the candle. The switch is easy to turn on or off. If you switch on one candle, then hit the "multi-color" on the remote and wait a bit before turning on the next candle and hitting the same button, you're able to have each candle going at a separate color when it's changing. You can also make two the same and one different. It just depends on when you turn them on and hit the "multi color" button.

There's 12 different colors on the candles. These colors include red, green, navy blue, orange, lime, light blue, beige, sky blue, lilac, blue, light pink, and purple. The colors are fun and help create a mod or atmosphere. 

The remote includes 2 different color modes. Hitting the "mode" button allows you to switch between the modes. The modes include a solid color or a flashing candle. The flashing happens with a few quick flashes and then a slow one. It's not as quick as a strobe, so it's not as likely to give a headache if you watch the flashing candles too much. At times, one, two, or all three candles with be a flashing candle. To change it, just hit the "mode" button a few times. If you hit the "mode" button when the candle is on the dim side of the flashing candle, it will make the candle stay at that dim mode at a solid color, so you're able to change the brightness by clicking "mode" to turn the flashing candle on, and hit the "mode" button again to stop the candle on the desired brightness level. (Once you click multi-color, the brightness will go back to the default setting.) 

The candles also include a timer. There's a 4 and a 8 hour timers. It's great for nightlight for kids. The longer you have the candles on, the more energy it'll take to use them. 

The light in the candle is small. It doesn't really give off heat or get hot while it's on, even if the candle has been on for hours.
