From previous Seaside Summer stories, I had been itching to know more about Tony and Amy. Their relationship had always made me curious. Book 4, Seaside Secrets, helped me get inside their heads and understand them more.
I loved reading the Seaside Secrets book. There were times it took me on an emotional ride due to the losses they both faced. One summer could change your life and those around you.
Amy seems like the good girl of the Seaside Sisters. The one who is more responsible and laid-back, yet she's been hiding a secret from her friends and family. One that only Tony knows. The way Amy seemed to have acted in her youth in this story frustrated me. She pushed the one person who knew the secret and could help her cope with the loss away. She caused both of them to suffer alone. Tony has always loved and protected Amy, but he also frustrated me in the story. He didn't fight harder for Amy when she went off to college. Tony and Amy both pinned for each other for 14 years due to their stubbornness.
In youth, we all do foolish things. Sometimes time away from those we love help us grow to realize how important they truly are. Seaside Secrets helps show that.
